4 Shot, 3 Dead at Kentucky Condo Shooting

By THE ASSOCIATED PRESS

LOUISVILLE, Ky. - Three people were shot to death and a fourth was
critically injured Wednesday at a condominium building in Louisville, Ky.,
and police are saying the shootings appear to be domestic-related.

The fourth shooting victim was taken to University Hospital with what
appeared to be life-threatening injuries. The woman, in her 60s, was in
critical condition.

No names were released, but police spokesman Dwight Mitchell identified the
deceased as a girl, a 38-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man.

The shootings were reported shortly before 4:30 p.m. EDT, Mitchell said.

"At this time, we believe we have everybody that's involved ...," Mitchell
said. "We believe there's not anyone on the loose."

The suspect appears to be among the dead, Mitchell said later.

He said the shootings took place inside a residence but declined to say
whether there were other people inside at the time.

The Lakeview Condominiums complex lies in a neighborhood filled with
upper-middle-class homes with manicured lawns near Bellarmine University on
the outskirts of the Highlands neighborhood, near the Watterson Expressway.

About two hours after the shootings, a man and a woman who was crying went
to the scene. They didn't speak to reporters but crossed the police tape and
talked briefly to an officer before being escorted back to their vehicle and
leaving. About a half-hour later, a different pair came and also spoke to
police, the woman visibly shaken and weeping, before being walked back to
their vehicle and driving off.

Molly Hoekstra said she has lived in the complex for nearly two years. She
returned home Wednesday to find the building blocked off by police tape.

"It's always been really safe and neighborly," she said of the community.
"It's like the most quiet place there is."

Hoekstra, eventually allowed inside her condo, brought her cat, Sasha, out
in a carrier and said she was spending the night with relatives. The
shooting, she said, had left her unnerved.

It would appear that what is worse than a lot of guns is NO guns.

You have yet to actually respond to that.

That same sort of scenario shows up in Sandy Hook where there were zero
guns permitted...... The mortality rate went way way higher than
average.

There is a pattern for for you.

Like I said, when school opens in the fall have your arithmetic teacher
explain "rate"

Meanwhile keep sucking up the NRA bullshit you spout.

1. If someone intentionally shoot another person, that's a gun death
2. If someone drops a firearm and it goes off and kills a person, that's a
gun death.
3. Some one fires at a target (not a person) and accidently kills another
person, that's a gun death.
4. If someone kills themselves with a firearm, that's a gun death.
5. If a child picks up a gun and it goes off and kills someone, that's a gun
death
6. etc.

"Guns don't kill people..."?
Strange.
That's what they are designed to do.

In every case a person is RESPONSIBLE for the death of another No gun
ever killed a person without being acted on by a person Hence people
kill people

Guns are designed to fire a projectile by the explosive release of gas
That projectile can be fire at a non living target, an animal as in a
hunt and or a person in an act of aggression or self defense.

Your "tool" is designed to kill.

That's its primary function.

You may use it for other purposes, like driving a nail into a wall.

Nonetheless, its primary function is to kill people and other animals.

Notwithstanding the bullshit drummed into your head by the NRA.

Neither is a gun, they're designed to move a projectile faster than an
SUV, a projectile that you can do several things with. Shoot targets,
scare the shit out of a raccoon, fire a nail into concrete, feed a
family, entertain you at a carnival, stop a crime, play Paint ball tag,
fire rope line from ship to ship, Shoot skeet or fire rescue flairs....
and more.

Killing with an SUV is NO less a part of it's design than killing with a
gun.

It depends on the operator doesn't it.

They even design an SUV so that you can survive a killing, you can run
into another smaller car and kill everyone and walk away from the crash,
hoe great is that. SO if you choose to murder people then an SUV is a
fair choice for doing it.

In fact people carry guns inside an SUV for drive by shooting so it has
enhancements just like bayonets are enhancements on the gun, the SUV has
room to use the gun and extra acceleration to be unseen at the crime.
Tinted windows, and some are 4 wheel drive to drive over most junk so
they can get close to people or run them over.

The only thing better than an SUV for killing is maybe an SUV with a gun
in it.

The primary design usage for a firearm is to kill people or other animals

No other product has that as a design goal.
SUVs are designed primarily as transport machines.

While you can drive nail into a wall with a gun it's much better at what is
was deigned to do....
To kill people or other living things.

We've enough of you reciting the NRA bullshit you've been fed.

Guns are for killing things
SUVs are for transporting things

You don't even now what guns and cars are for?

Why would we listen to your ignorant propaganda?

Cars were only designed to be used to escape after robbing banks and
gangster drive by killings of people.... in fact they did a lot of that
back in the 1920's when cars fist became popular, and they had running
boards to help with the shooting.

Arrows and Bows are only for killing people and should be banned.
They're for when you run out of bullets.

Airplanes were designed to fall back to the ground.

All just for killing aren't they?

Who designed a .25 auto to kill? They failed miserably......

A 2 inch barrel has no accuracy and the ballistics are all wrong to kill.

Guns can shoot down and or stop drone vehicles and that doesn't kill
anyone. A gun can shoot a bomb from a safe distance. A gun can shoot a
hole in a drug smugglers boat engine and disable their boat.

A bean bag shell in a shot gun doesn't kill.... a Taser gun doesn't
kill. A paintball doesn't kill. They're all guns.

Besides all that, the constitution didn't say anything about what a gun
was designed to do it simply says it's MY RIGHT to keep and bear arms.
In fact see no way that you can legally stop anyone from building their
own gun for themselves that has NO government limits on it.

And that's what counts, you don't like it, submit a constitutional
amendment for a vote.

NOT one gun I ever owned got up and went out and shot a single
person..... where can I buy a gun that will kill people without any
human intervention?

If you make a robot and put your gun in it's hand and program it to
kill, did the gun or the robot or the human kill someone?

And should we ban robots OR guns or both?

it would have to be designed and built to kill......

Try some hot peppers, any kind you have or can get cheap(I grow some
cayenne), I cook it up being real careful not to be over the pot or
touching any of it and turn on an exhaust fan and open a window.... and
then use a coffee filter to get a jar full and then I use a
turkey/Bar-B-Q marinade injector to fill a few tomatoes and fruits out
in the garden that they already ruined. And I also mix it in a sprayer
with water and a bit of dish soap and and spray the garden all around
and spray the vegetables near the ones they already ruined. No
squirrels have been back at my tomatoes.

I'll bet you do it a few times a year to re-educate them and they'll
stay away.
