Led by the likes of Tom Daschle (or "Dasshole", as more and more Americans
prefer to call him) the Democrats in the Senate continue to obstruct not
only the filling of Court vacancies, but also obstruct economic recovery.
Those Dems oppose tax rate relief, despite the fact that tax rate reduction
stimulates the economy! Why do the Dems do that? Because the Democrat
Party WANTS the United States economy to be weak. The Dems have no
positive agenda to offer the American people, and instead hope that a weak
economy will somehow hurt President Bush's reelection bid.

The Senate Democrats WANT the economy to be weak, and oppose any and all
efforts to stimulate the economy.

I suspect the Democrats realise that Bush's tax cuts which the public
perceives predominately favour the very wealthy are not particularly popular
with the majority of voters.

interesting opinion poll........it shows that while Bush has many positives,
it also the public has many concerns as well..............

http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/articles/A1938-2003May1.html
"Asked whom they trust to create more jobs, Bush trailed Democrats by 51
percent to 40 percent. Just 28 percent said they prefer Bush's proposed tax
cut to spending the money on more government services, and 57 percent said
the tax cut favors the rich. Only 10 percent of those surveyed said they are
better off financially today than when Bush took office, with 48 percent
saying they are worse off."

cheers

Except that the majority of voters ARE "the very wealthy", according to how
today's Democrat Party DEFINES "the very wealthy".

Thus the "logic" of the anti-tax burden relief is seen to be nothing more
than the usual Democrat Party bullsh*t, bluetak.

I'm unsure of your point. If you read my thread I make mention "the public
perceives". The poll is conducted with the general public, so it is the
general public's definition of what consitutes the very wealthy that is the
point not what the democratic party says. Surely this is the relevant point
and is the issue for both the Republicans and the Democrats.........

Since, you mentioned my special hero Senator Daschle, who represents more four
legged constituents than two legged constituents, I have a couple of special tax
credist that are guaranteed to beautify America.

First, there is the jew nose job tax credit. All jews who get their noses
"done" will get a special tax credit up to and including having it done in Miami
or LA. This adds a mere 60 Billion dollars to the tac cut.

Second, there is the republicoon negro ass reduction tax credit, for all negroes
who get special ass reduction surgery. This adds only about 100 Billion dollars
to the tax cut.

So right off the bat we are at approx. 900 Billion dollars...I am sure you can
come up with a scheme to give the jewish state another 100 Billion dollars...

That is one of the warning signs that you're probably a Democrat of the
Liberal Variety, bluetak. You are "unsure" of the point, namely, that
today's Democrat Party defines "the very wealthy" such that the majority of
voters ARE "the very wealthy". Basically if it moves, breathes, or has
life, the Democrat Party wants to demonize it as "the very wealthy" and
wants to burden it with oppressive (and unfair and biased) tax rates.
