War but is now increasing US troop levels in Afghanistan. We are still
supporting a corrupt Karzai, with no end in sight. Before Obama was
elected he made sarcastic comments about "fighting the good fight",

I dont see how he's really any different than Bush. He hasn't closed
Gitmo, he hasnt pulled out of Iraq or Afghanistan. The US airforce

mostly their mess anyway. Most think that Afghanistan is one, big happy bunch
who all think the same. But that mistake was made in Iraq too. The Afghanis
in the north don't like the Taliban at all and are cooperative with the NATO
forces. The same situation existed in north Iraq, where attacks on coallition
troops were rare.
Most of the shit in Afghanistan is happening in the south where the locals
empathise with the Taliban and are supportive. Ask any military analyst.
Divide the country in two. Arm the north to the teeth to keep the Taliban out,
let the Pakistanis get them from the south.
Hell, what made people think that Iraq was one big happy family when it was
three countries before the British interfered?
