(KMOV.com)—The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department is
investigating after 15 teens allegedly beat three people in a
downtown St. Louis park Sunday evening.

Police said as many as 30 boys and girls were walking in the
park near the intersection of 18th Street and Chestnut when two
men, ages 62 and 53, were assaulted by 15 teen suspects.

The suspects then went after a 16-year-old boy and took his iPod.

Police said about 12 officers responded to the scene and
apprehended the suspects, who were taken into custody for
questioning.

“We don’t believe that their intent necessarily was to commit
crimes, but then it almost appears they started feeding off each
other, each one encouraging the other one and saying, ‘hey we
can do this’ and they started seeing some people they felt they
could take advantage of,” said Capt. Kenneth Kegel with the St.
Louis Police Department.

One 18-year-old suspect is in custody. Another suspect was taken
in to the custody of juvenile authorities.

Police said the other 13 suspects were booked and released to
their parents or guardians.

The three victims suffered minor injuries and are expected to
recover.

Police have not released the victims’ or suspects’ identities at
this time.

No formal charges have been filed.

The investigation is ongoing.

Since they didn't identify the punks and it was in St. Louis,
you know they're niggers.
