Colo. Rep.: Congress can't avoid gun issue

CBS News) Congressman Ed Perlmutter, D-Colo., who represents Aurora,
said gun laws must be addressed, including the assault weapons ban,
which expired in 2004. However, he said this is not an issue for the
president but for the Congress.
"You know, should we reinstate the assault weapons ban? I think we
should, and I think that's where it starts," Perlmutter said on "Face
the Nation."
"We ought to be taking a look at how this guy was able to accumulate
so much ammunition. He had enough ammunition for, like, a small army.
There's something wrong about that."
In a previous segment on "Face the Nation," New York City Mayor

of some people sound and look like that. One guy was showing his
shoulder wounds to the TV news.. His friend - a woman next to him - was
killed. His multiple shoulder wounds were seemingly minor. He said the
projectiles were still in his arm. He'd been to the emergency room...
It'd kill if close/dense enough, or bad luck at a distance... Dick
Cheney accidentally shot his friend, probably at some range, and a
pellet went into his heart..
IF it was birdshot, we're going to have to ban all shotguns as well as
assault rifles, and handguns. Maybe even iron plumbing pipe... (which
guns can be made out of..)

Some restriction would be nice. Then again how do the gangs get their

Gun laws will not stop illegal gun running or Obama gun running like
fast and furious. We have seen what one gun like that did think of
all the ones Obama gave the drug lords over 1000.

We are very lucky the man had limited training. Then again he was
well educated going to a PHD and all.
This is what I mean by how low the far left has gone. Why it might
have jammed was answered and the Far left freaks twist that and make

About a year-and-a-half ago, Castro was trying to sneak into the
United States through Arizona�s hilly backcountry when a Border Patrol
agent on horseback spotted his group of about 12 travelers. They
scattered. The agent zeroed in on Castro.
Castro claims the agent, Abel Canales, beat him, hurled insults at him
and then shot him in the side before riding away. He says he waited in
the desert for an hour and a half, bleeding through his clothes,
thinking about his children and preparing himself for death.
An emergency crew arrived and airlifted him to University Medical
Center in Tucson, where he had three operations. Once he was well
enough to be released, he claims he was handcuffed to his wheelchair,
was not allowed to bathe or use a restroom and was denied access to a
Mexican consular official.
Lawyers for the government said Canales acted in self defense, that
Castro tried to throw a rock at him. Canales�s lawyer did not respond
to requests for an interview, and a lawyer for the government declined
to comment.

2. Another if caught stop and don't throw racks could get you killed.
3. Stay in Mexico and apply for a Visa legally and you won't get
shot.
