You don't want to go there, Nap.

Conservative governments in Argentina have killed tens of
thousands of civilians over the last thirty years or so.
Political abductions.

They simply kidnapped civilians they didn't like, and either shot
them, or flew them out over the Atlantic in Heliocopters and
dumped them alive into the sea.

Then they took the orphan kids and "adopted" them out to
compliant Conservative families. People who believe what you
believe did this, Nap.

===

Chile also did this -- Nixon's Chile, with Pinochet running
things.

... and El Salvador also did this. Reagan's San Salvador. ... and
Reagan helped to put the leader of the Conservative Military
death squads in as President later. Pretty god damned awful.

===

As far as Mao goes, it's a slander and a really gross lie to
claim that any American Liberal supported Mao Tse Tung. Not to
mention, completely incorrect. You _do_ care about holding
factual political beliefs, don't you?

Are you sure you're old enough to post in a political newsgroup?

So, your argument is that the Republicans in the United States
are responsible for tens of thousands of civilians killed in Argentia.

Simply because you like to lump people into large groups.

This tendency of yours to fault entire groups because you
happened to lump some wrong doers in with them is
intellectually and morally bankrupt.

My original argument's thesis was that this is a bogus line of
argument, and if your going to do it, it works far better on the
left than on the right. You failed to understand that. No wonder
you use this silly argument.

No, his argument was tha conservative governments in Argentina have

killed tens of thousands of civilians over the last thirty years or

so. He then mentions political abductions. You really need to brush
up on those reading skills.

When I last looked, you were trying to lump me in with someone you
claim killed 65 million people because I expressed disapproval of an
unregulated free market economy.

Are you going to compare him to Stalin and claim Stalin killed 100
million people? Or maybe you could compare him to Idi Amin, and claim
he cannibalized the entire continent of Africa.

So 'conservative governments' are just any governments that aren't
Communist and that the US supports against Communists?

How does this relate to the republicans in the United States? QED.

Yes. And you found the flaw with that argument.

It doesn't appear to stop you from constantly making that argument.

You're completely incapable of objectivity. Thanks for making the
point that left wing liberals are not fair or objective. That was not
the issue here, however.

But the poster left it to believe that what he was saying, that seems
to be his intent

A separate line that says " Political abductions." does not say
anything , unless you put it with what he wrote just before .

you of all people should know what the "intent" of a person is.
