OSLO - The Norwegian police on Saturday charged a man they identified as a
right-wing fundamentalist Christian in connection with the bombing of a
government building in central Oslo and a shooting attack on a nearby island
that together killed at least 92 people.
Mother of Pearl !
That, sir, is the Tea Party mantra, whether it's killing an abortion doctor,
blowing up a federal office building in Oklahoma City, killing a
congresswoman, breaking windows at a congressman's offices or blowing up the
US government by not passing a heretofore routine debt ceiling update.
I agree. Just look at Michelle Bachmann and her statements about
"watering the tree of liberty with the blood of patriots". Can you
imagine what would happen if a liberal had said something like that?
Then again we have Rick Perry flirting with Texas secession talk and
the News Media let's him ride. We have Sarah Palin who had strong
connections to the Alaskan Independence Party which McCains own senior
advisor said was true!
Where was the news media? It is biased but pro-conservative.
These right wingers seem to believe they have an "ENTITLEMENT".
The leftards of course are going to start their usual cheap and
opportunistic tactic to trying to score points by making 'linkages'

There you go again calling people the same stupid names your mother had
called you.
It's the same tea party dogshit that murdered 168 in Oklahoma City; the same
tea party dogshit that attempted to murder a US congresswoman; the same tea
party dogshit that murdered abortion physicians; the same tea party dogshit
that vandalizes the offices of US members of congress; the same tea party
dogshit that threatens "Second Amendment solutions" to politicians they do
not like; it's the same tea party dogshit that brings weapons to an
appearance by the POTUS; the same tea party dogshit that wants to murder the
US economy using an heretofore routine update of the US debt limit, the same
debt limit that was approved 17 times under Pres. Reagan.

This guy is cut from the same tea bagging cloth as Tim McVeigh, the tea
bagging creeps that murder abortion doctors, the creeps that vandalize the
office space of Democratic congressmen and the politicians that talk about
"second amendment solutions" (Sharron Angle, remember her?).
He is not like King Harald. He and your 'baggers are more like Quisling.

Wow dude! Thats one of the biggest lies Ive ever seen you spew! And

Say..how long was Robert KKK Byrd the senior Democrat in Congress?
You remember..the guy that died last year while still in office. The
Grand Kleagle of the KKK..that Byrd.
Then of course we have a long list of others. Want the list?

You denying leftwingers..you give us all a huge grin and hysterical

Say..you do know that denial is not a river in Egypt...right?
You pile of McCarthyite manure. Your bullshit stinks so much, my monitor is

This is what the NAACP had to say about your fucking beagle or kugle or
whatever the hell you want to be in your fucking klan:
http://www.naacp.org/press/entry/naacp-mourns-the-passing-of-u.s.-senator-robert-byrd/
WASHINGTON, DC - The NAACP is saddened by the passing of United States
Senator Robert Byrd. Byrd, the longest serving member of congress was first
elected to the U.S. House from in 1952 and was elected Senator in 1958. Byrd
passed away this morning at the age of 92.
"Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation," stated
NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. "Senator Byrd went from being
an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil
Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal
legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country.
"Senator Byrd came to consistently support the NAACP civil rights agenda,
doing well on the NAACP Annual Civil Rights Report Card. He stood with us on
many issues of crucial importance to our members from the reauthorization of
the Voting Rights Act, the historic health care legislation of 2010 and his
support for the Hate Crimes Prevention legislation," stated Hilary O.
Shelton, Director of the NAACP Washington Bureau and Senior Vice President
for Advocacy and Policy. "Senator Byrd was a master of the Senate Rules, and
helped strategize passage of legislation that helped millions of Americans.
He will be sorely missed."
Now tell us you lying scumbag about Barry Goldwater trying to filibuster
against the Voting Rights Bill of 1964.
Now tell us about the time your GOPukes recruited your hero, David Duke to
get more of his hooded scumbags into the GOP. Care to tell us about him, you
lying pile of horse manure?

Yes and?
http://gopcapitalist.tripod.com/democratrecord.html
A common attack upon conservatives and republicans by the ultra left is
to engage in what has come to be known as "playing the race card" but is
more accurately described as racial McCarthyism. Hardly a day goes by
without a member of the far left wing falsely accusing conservatives of
racism, bigotry, and a wide array of similar nasty things. They are not
only dishonest, but they often border on the absurd, as in NAACP leader
and hyper bigot Julian Bond's recent implication to his organization
that Bush administration officials supported confederate slavery.
Amazingly, Bond's statements went without condemnation from the radical
Democrat party or others in his organization.
Not surprisingly, in all the lies and accusations of racism by the
radical left wing, the truth becomes distorted not only about the
Republicans but also the Democrats who make these accusations
themselves. For instance, you may or may not have heard Democrat Senator
Robert Byrd's outburst of racist bigoted slurs, more specifically the
"n-word," on national television in March of 2001. Amazingly, this
incident of blatant racism on national television drew barely a peep
from the NAACP, Jesse Jackson, Julian Bond, Mary Frances Berry, or any
of the other ambulance chasers who purport themselves to be the leaders
of the civil rights movement. In contrast, the main source of well
deserved criticism for Byrd's racist outburst came not from any of the
so called leaders of the civil rights movement but from from Republican
Majority Leader Dick Armey (source). The race hustlers Jackson, Mfume et
al turned a blind eye towards this act of racism by one of their own
party, at most issuing an unpublicized slap on the wrist, or, as was
more often the case, making not a peep. But where the race hustlers turn
a blind eye and spew their lies, it is up to conservatives to set the
record straight with the truth.
In response to the growing practice of racial McCarthyism by prominent
left wing Democrats, it is necessary to expose the truth about the
Democrat Party's record on Civil Rights:
I. Acts of Bigotry by Prominent Democrats and Leftists:
Franklin Delano Roosevelt: Franklin Roosevelt, the long time hero and
standard bearer of the Democrat Party, headed up and implemented one of
the most horrible racist policies of the 20th Century the Japanese
Internment Camps during World War II. Roosevelt unilaterally and
knowingly enacted Japanese Internment through the use of presidential
Executive Orders 9066 and 9102 during the early years of the war. These
orders single-handedly led to the imprisonment of an estimated 120,000
law abiding Americans of Japanese ancestry, the overwhelming majority of
them natural born second and third generation American citizens.
Countless innocents lost their property, fortunes, and, in the case of
an unfortunate few, even their lives as a result of Roosevelt's
internment camps, camps that have been accurately described as America's
concentration camps. Perhaps most telling about the racist nature of
Roosevelt's order was his clearly expressed intention to apply it almost
entirely to Japanese Americans, even though America was also at war with
Germany and Italy. In 1943, Roosevelt wrote regarding concerns of German
and Italian Americans that they t0o would share in the fate of the
interned Japanese Americans, noting that "no collective evacuation of
German and Italian aliens is contemplated at this time." Despite this
assertion, Roosevelt did exhibit his personal fears about Italian and
German Americans, and in his typical racist form he used an ethnic
stereotype to make his point. Expressing about his position on German
and Italian Americans during World War II, Roosevelt stated I dont
care so much about the Italians, they are a lot of opera singers, but
the Germans are different. They may be dangerous.
Roosevelt also appointed two notorious segregationists to the United
States Supreme Court. Roosevelt appointed South Carolina segregationist
Democrat Jimmy Byrnes to the court. Roosevelt later made Byrnes a top
advisor, where the segregationist earned the nickname assistant
president. Byrnes was Roosevelts second choice behind Harry Truman for
the VP nod in his 1944 reelection bid. Roosevelt also appointed
segregationist Democrat Senator Hugo Black of Alabama to the court.
Black was a former member of the Ku Klux Klan with a notorious record of
racism himself.
Hugo Black: A former Democrat Senator from Alabama and liberal U.S.
Supreme Court Justice appointed by FDR, Hugo Black had a lengthy history
of hate group activism. Black was a member of the Ku Klux Klan in the
1920's and gained his legal fame defending Klansmen under prosecution
for racial murders. In one prominent case, Black provided legal
representation to Klansman Edwin Stephenson for the hate-induced murder
of a Catholic priest in Birmingham. A jury composed of several Klan
members acquited Stephenson of the murder, reportedly after Black
expressed Klan gestures to the jury during the trial. In 1926 Black
sought and won election as a Democrat to the United States Senate after
campaigning heavily to Klan membership. He is said to have told one Klan
audience "I desire to impress upon you as representatives of the real
Anglo-Saxon sentiment that must and will control the destinies of the
stars and stripes, that I want your counsel." In the Senate Black became
a stauch supporter of the liberal New Deal initiatives of FDR and a
solid opponent of civil rights legislation, including a filibuster of an
anti-lynching measure. Black led the push for several New Deal programs
and was a key participant in FDR's court packing scandal. Roosevelt
appointed Black, a loyal ally, to the U.S. Supreme Court. During the
Senate confirmation of Black's nomination, the issue of his strong Klan
affiliations caused a public controversy over his appointment. Following
the confirmation Roosevelt claimed ignorance of Black's Klan past,
though this claim was dubious at best. Black's first Senate election,
which occurred with Klan support, had been covered nationally a decade
earlier in 1926. Black's Klan affiliations were a well known part of his
political background and recieved heavy coverage in the newspapers at
the time of his appointment. On the court, Black became a liberal
stalwart. He also continued his career of supporting racism by authoring
the opinion in favor of FDR's Japanese internment program in the
infamous Korematsu ruling.
Senator Robert Byrd, D-WV: Byrd is a former member of the Ku Klux Klan
and is currently the only national elected official with a history in
the Klan, a well known hate group. Byrd was extremely active in the Klan
and rose to the rank of Kleagle, an official Klan membership
recruiter. Byrd once stated that he joined the Klan because it was
effective in "promoting traditional American values" (Source). Byrd's
choice of words speak volumes about his bigotry considering the fact
that the Klan is a notorious hate group, and the racist "values" it
promotes are anything but American. One of the earliest criticisms of
Byrd's Klan ties came in 1952 when he was running for Congress. Byrd
responded by claiming that he had left the Klan in 1943 while noting
that "(d)uring the nine years that have followed, I have never been
interested in the Klan." Byrd was lying, however, as he engaged in
correspondence with a Klan Imperial Wizard long after he claims to have
ended his ties with the hate group.
In a letter to the Klan leadership (Source) dated 3 years after he
purported to have ended his ties with them, Byrd wrote "I am a former
kleagle of the Ku Klux Klan in Raleigh County and the adjoining counties
of the state. The Klan is needed today as never before and I am anxious
to see its rebirth here in West Virginia." Byrd continued his racist
diatribe "It is necessary that the order be promoted immediately and in
every state of the Union" and followed with a request for assistance
from the hate group's leadership in "rebuilding the Klan in the realm"
of West Virginia.
Byrd's racism extends far beyond his Klan membership. In a letter he
wrote on the subject of desegregating the armed forces, Byrd escalated
his racist rhetoric to an appalling level. In the letter, Byrd vowed
that he would never fight in an integrated armed services noting
"(r)ather I should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in
the dirt never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours
become degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen
from the wilds" (Source).
Byrd's racist opinions have shown their ugly face in his behavior in the
Senate. Byrd led the filibuster of the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and,
according to the United States Senate's own website, filibustered the
legislation to the bitter end appearing as one of the last opponents to
the act before a coalition of civil rights proponents led by Republican
Minority Leader Everett Dirksen invoked cloture so that the Civil Rights
Act of 1964 could pass. At the time, Byrd was in the the midst of a 14
hour and 13 minute filibuster diatribe against the key civil rights
measure (Source). Throughout the 1960's, Byrd was was one of the
staunchest opponents to civil rights in the U.S. Senate. Byrds racist
history drew attention recently when he went on national television and
repeatedly used the n-word, one of the most vicious racial slurs in
existence, in an appearance on national television. Byrd uttered the
slur on Fox News Sunday with Tony Snow on March 5, 2001. Despite the
appalling nature of the remark, it went largely ignored by the
mainstream media and the self appointed "civil rights" leadership.
Whereas a similar remark by anyone other than a leading Democrat Senator
would assuredly prompt the likes of Jesse Jackson to assemble protest
rallies demanding resignations, the Jackson crowd was eerily quiet
following Byrd's remarks, issuing only low key suggestions that Byrd
should avoid making such bigoted remarks.
In a sickening recognition of Byrd's appalling political career, the
national Democrat party has done nothing but embrace the West Virginia
senator with leadership roles and practically every honor imaginable. To
this very day the Democrats call former Klansman turned U.S. Senator
Robert Byrd the "conscience of the Senate." They have embraced him as
their party's central pillar in all ways possible. Byrd has been
reelected more times than any other Democrat senator, has served as a
Democrat in Congress, a Democrat State Senator in West Virginia, and a
Democrat State Delegate in West Virginia. Democrats have made repeatedly
elected Byrd into their national party leadership and into the U.S.
Senate leadership. He became secretary of the Senate Democrat Caucus in
1967, and Senate Democrat Whip in 1971. The Democrats elected former
Klansman Byrd as their Senate Majority Leader from 1977-1980 and as
their Senate Minority Leader from 1981-1986. Byrd was again elected
Democrat Majority Leader from 1987-1988. Democrats made Byrd the
chairman of the powerful Appropriations Committee and President Pro
Tempore of the Senate from 1989 until the Republicans won control of the
Senate in November 1994. Following the defection of Jim Jeffords in June
2001, the Democrats again made Byrd the chairman of the Appropriations
Committee and elected him to the highest ranking office in the Senate:
the President Pro Tempore, a position which also put this former
Klansman 4th in line for the presidency. Byrd lost his position when
Republicans retook the Senate in late 2002, but continues to serve as
one of the highest ranking members of the Democrat Senate leadership
today.
Senator Ernest Hollings, D-SC: Hollings is liberal Democrat Senator from
South Carolina who is also notorious for his use of racial slurs. He
rose out of the Democrat Party's segregationist wing in the 1960's as
governor of South Carolina. While in office as governor, Hollings
personally led the opposition to lunch counter integration in his state.
The New York Times reported on March 17, 1960 that then-governor
Hollings "warned today that South Carolina would not permit 'explosive'
manifestations in connection with Negro demands for lunch-counter
services." According to the article, Hollings gave a speech in which he
"challenged President Eisenhower's contention that minorities had the
right to engage in certain types of demonstrations" against segregation.
In the speech Hollings described the Republican president as "confused"
and asserted that Eisenhower had done "great damage to peace and good
order" by supporting the rights of minorities to protest segregation at
the lunch counters.
Governor Hollings' support for segregation continued throughout his term
and included his attendance at a July 23, 1961 meeting of segregationist
Democrats to organize their opposition to the civil rights movement.
Hollings was one of four governors in attendence, all of them Democrats.
The others included rabid segregationists Orval Faubus of Arkansas and
Ross Barnett of Mississippi. The New York Times reported on the meeting,
noting that among the strategies discussed were using the segregationist
White Citizens Council organization to mobilize political opposition to
desegregation.
In more recent years Hollings, a senior Democrat senator, has made
disparaging racial remarks and slurs against minorities. Senator
Hollings, who was a contender for his party's presidential nomination in
1984, blamed his defeat in the primaries by using a racial slur against
Hispanics. After losing the Iowa Straw Poll, Hollings stated "You had
wetbacks from California that came in here for Cranston," referring to
one of his opponents, Alan Cranston. A few years later Hollings
reportedly used the slur "darkies" to derogatorily refer to blacks. He
also once disparagingly referred to the Rainbow PUSH Coalition as the
"Blackbow Coalition," and called former Senator Howard Metzenbaum, who
is Jewish, "the Senator from B'nai B'rith." Hollings gained
international criticism for his remarks about the African Delegation to
the 1993 Geneva GATT conference, where he crudely remarked "you'd find
these potentates from down in Africa, you know, rather than eating each
other, they'd just come up and get a good square meal in Geneva."
Hollings was also the Governor of South Carolina who raised the
confederate flag over the state capitol in the early 1960's in what was
considered at the time to be an act of defiance to civil rights. The
press ignored Hollings and his role in the flag issue at the same time
the political correctness police were smearing George W. Bush during his
campaign after Bush correctly remarked that the flag was a state issue
to be decided upon by South Carolina and not the national government.
Jesse Jackson: Jackson was the featured prime time speaker at the 2000
Democrat Convention. Jackson has a history of using anti-Semitic slurs
and derogatorily calling New York City Hymietown. Jackson, a prominent
self proclaimed "civil rights leader," is himself guilty of the same
bigotry he dishonestly purports to oppose.
Dan Rather: Rather, the well known television anchor for CBS, is also a
liberal Democrat who has spoken at fundraisers for the Democrat party in
the past. The notoriously left wing reporter appeared on the Don Imus
radio show on July 19, 2001 where he was interviewed about his long term
refusal to cover the Gary Condit (D-CA) scandal involving an affair with
a missing intern despite the scandal's national prominence. Rather noted
on the air that CBS had basically forced him to cover the story that was
on every other network and on the front page of all the major
newspapers, all this after Rather avoided it for months. Rather stated
on the air, refering to CBS, that "they got the Buckwheats" and made him
cover the Condit scandal. The term "Buckwheat" is considered an
offensive racial stereotype that stems from an easily frightened black
character named "Buckwheat" on the Little Rascals comedies. It is
widely regarded as a racial epithet and has long been condemned as an
offensive stereotype by several civil rights organizations. In several
past incidents (see here and here) the use of the epithet "Buckwheat"
has recieved condemnation by the NAACP, Al Sharpton and other left wing
organizations. These left wing organizations and personalities have
demanded that other media personalities be fired over using the epithet,
and even staged a protest at a school over the mere allegation that the
racist stereotype had been used by a teacher. Yet these same liberal
groups have, to date, remained completely silent now that one of their
own, Dan Rather, is guilty of using the same offensive racial stereotype
they have condemned elsewhere on a national radio show. It's just more
proof of how the left wingers who cry the loudest with accusations of
racism against others turn a blind eye when somebody of their own left
wing ideology is the undeniable culprit of a blatantly racist act or
statement!
Cragg Hines: Hines is one of the most rabidly partisan DC based Democrat
editorial columnists to work for a major newspaper, and he makes no
attempts to hide it. To Hines, pro-lifers are "neanderthals," as is
often the case with those who differ in opinion with him. Ironically,
Hines, a columnist who regularly touts himself as an enlightened
progressive, is also known for racial remarks and religious intolerance.
He attacked Senator Jesse Helms in an August 26, 2001 editorial with not
only the usual liberal name calling, but also with a racial epithet.
Hines used the racial slur "cracker" to attack Helms. He used the
epithet not only within the article's text, but he even included it in
the piece's title. In a sense of heavy irony, Hines' article accused
Helms of bigotry for, among other things, opposing liberal policies like
affirmative action. He didn't seem to object to himself for his own
bigotted language in the same article. Hines has also drawn heavy
criticism from Catholics including a letter to the editor from the
former President of the U.S. Catholic Bishop's Conference for his
seemingly agenda-driven criticisms of Catholicism and its religious
leaders, often based on little or no historical evidence, which he has
expressed in numerous editorial columns.
Al Sharpton: Sharpton, a perrenial Democrat candidate and one of the
rumored candidates for the Democrat's 2004 presidential nomination, has
a notorious racist past. Sharpton was a central figure who fanned the
1991 Crown Heights race riot, where a mob shouting anti-semetic slurs
murdered an innocent Jewish man. Sharpton also incited a 1995 protest of
a Jewish owned store in Harlem where protesters used several
anti-semetic slurs. During the protests, a Sharpton lieutenant called
the store's owner a "bloodsucker" and declared an intent to "loot the
Jews." A member of the protest mob later set fire to the store,
resulting in the death of seven (source).
Representative Dick Gephardt, D-MO: Gephardt, the former Democrat
Minority Leader in the U.S. House of Representatives, gave several
speeches to a St. Louis area hate group during his early years as a
representative. According to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, Gephardt spoke
before the Metro South Citizens Council, a now defunct white supremacist
organization, during his early years as a congressman. Newsmax.com
further reported that Gephardt had openly asked the group for an
endorsement of his candidacy during one of his many visits with the
organization. Gephardt has long avoided questions about his past
affiliation with this group.
Andrew Cuomo: Cuomo, Bill Clinton's former Housing Secretary and a
prominent Democrat political player in New York, was tape recorded using
racially inflamatory rhetoric to build opposition to a potential
Democrat primary opponent while speaking to a Democrat group. Cuomo
stated that voting for his rival for the New York Democrat gubernatorial
nomination Carl McCall, who is black, would create a "racial contract"
between Black and Hispanic Democrats "and that can't happen." Upon
initial reports, Cuomo denied the statement but later a tape recording
surfaced. Cuomo later dropped out of the race for governor (source).
Lee P. Brown: Brown, Bill Clinton's former drug czar and Democrat mayor
of Houston, engaged in racist campaigning designed to suppress Hispanic
voter turnout during his 2001 reelection bid. Brown faced challenger
Orlando Sanchez, a Hispanic Republican who drew heavy support from the
Hispanic community during the general election. Two weeks prior to the
runoff, Brown's campaign printed racist signs designed to intimidate
Hispanic voters. The signs featured a photograph of Sanchez and the
words "Anti-Hispanic." The signs drew harsh criticism from Hispanic
leaders as their message was designed to intimidate and confuse Hispanic
voters. Around the same time the signs were being used, Brown supporter
and city councilman Carol Alvarado made a series of racially charged
attacks on Sanchez, implying a desire to see the supression of Hispanic
voter turnout in the runoff. Brown staffers also went on record claiming
that Sanchez was not a true Hispanic. The racist anti-Hispanic
undertones of Brown's reelection bid were so great that liberal Democrat
city councilman John Castillo, himself Hispanic, retracted his
endorsement of Brown in disgust and became a Sanchez supporter in the
final week of the campaign. Following the harsh condemnation of the
racist signs and tactics, Brown purported that his campaign was removing
them even though many still lingered around Houston up until the
election. When election day came along, Brown placed more of the racist
signs at polling places, despite his claim to have stopped using them.
The large campaign billboard style election day signs featured, in
Spanish, the word "Danger!" on them followed by Sanchez's name with a
large red circle and slash through it. The signs identified the Brown
campaign as their owner on the bottom. Brown's racially charged
reelection effort barely squeeked by Sanchez on election day, winning
51% to 49% following a series of racially motivated advertisements in
which the Brown campaign appealed to the fear of black voters by
invoking images of the gruesome lynching death of James Byrd, Jr. and by
attempting to pit them against Hispanics. While Brown had the audacity
to declare himself a mayor for all people and all ethnicities at his
victory party, many in Houston fear the racial wounds inflicted by his
campaign will take years to heal.
Mary Frances Berry: Berry is the Democrat chair of the US Commission on
Civil Rights (USCCR). She purports herself to be an "independent" in her
political affiliation in order to hold her job on the civil rights
commission where partisan membership may not exceed 4 for either party,
but is in fact a dedicated liberal Democrat who openly supported Al Gore
for president and has given a total of $20,000 in personal contributions
to the Democrat Party, Al Gore for President, and other Democrat
candidates over the last decade. Berry is an open racist who is
affiliated with the far-left Pacifica radio network, a group with ties
to black nationalist causes. Berry once stated "Civil rights laws were
not passed to protect the rights of white men and do not apply to them,"
indicating that she believes the USCCR should only look out for civil
rights violations against persons of certain select skin colors.
Billy McKinney: Former Democrat State Representative Billy McKinney of
Georgia, who is also the father of former Democrat congresswoman Cynthia
McKinney of the same state. During his daughter's failed 2002 reelection
bid, McKinney appeared on television where he blamed his daughter's
difficulties on a Jewish conspiracy. McKinney unleashed a string of
anti-semitic sentiments, stating "This is all about the Jews" and
spelling out "J-E-W-S." McKinney lost his own seat in a runoff a few
weeks later.
The Democrat Party and the Ku Klux Klan: Aside from the multiple Klan
members who have served in elected capacity within the high ranks of the
Democrat Party, the political party itself has a lengthy but often
overlooked history of involvement with the Ku Klux Klan. Though it has
been all but forgotten by the media, the Democrat National Convention of
1924 was host to one of the largest Klan gatherings in American history.
Dubbed the "Klanbake convention" at the time, the 1924 Democrat National
Convention in New York was dominated by a platform dispute surrounding
the Ku Klux Klan. A minority of the delegates to the convention
attempted to condemn the hate group in the party's platform, but found
their proposal shot down by Klan supporters within the party. As
delegates inside the convention voted in the Klan's favor, the Klan
itself mobilized a celebratory rally outside. On July 4, 1924 one of the
largest Klan gatherings ever occurred outside the convention on a field
in nearby New Jersey. The event was marked by speakers spewing racial
hatred, celebrations of their platform victory in the Democrat
Convention, and ended in a cross burning.
II. Democrat opposition to the Civil Rights Movement:
A little known fact of history involves the heavy opposition to the
civil rights movement by several prominent Democrats. Similar historical
neglect is given to the important role Republicans played in supporting
the civil rights movement. A calculation of 26 major civil rights votes
from 1933 through the 1960's civil rights era shows that Republicans
favored civil rights in approximately 96% of the votes, whereas the
Democrats opposed them in 80% of the votes! These facts are often
intentionally overlooked by the left wing Democrats for obvious reasons.
In some cases, the Democrats have told flat out lies about their
shameful record during the civil rights movement.
Democrat Senators organized the record Senate filibuster of the Civil
Rights Act of 1964. Included among the organizers were several prominent
and well known liberal Democrat standard bearers including:
- Robert Byrd, current senator from West Virginia
- J. William Fulbright, Arkansas senator and political mentor of Bill
Clinton
- Albert Gore Sr., Tennessee senator, father and political mentor of Al
Gore. Gore Jr. has been known to lie about his father's opposition to
the Civil Rights Act.
- Sam Ervin, North Carolina senator of Watergate hearings fame
- Richard Russell, famed Georgia senator and later President Pro Tempore
The complete list of the 21 Democrats who opposed the Civil Rights Act
of 1964 includes Senators:
- Hill and Sparkman of Alabama
- Fulbright and McClellan of Arkansas
- Holland and Smathers of Florida
- Russell and Talmadge of Georgia
- Ellender and Long of Louisiana
- Eastland and Stennis of Mississippi
- Ervin and Jordan of North Carolina
- Johnston and Thurmond of South Carolina
- Gore Sr. and Walters of Tennessee
- H. Byrd and Robertson of Virginia
- R. Byrd of West Virginia
Democrat opposition to the Civil Rights Act was substantial enough to
literally split the party in two. A whopping 40% of the House Democrats
VOTED AGAINST the Civil Rights Act, while 80% of Republicans SUPPORTED
it. Republican support in the Senate was even higher. Similar trends
occurred with the Voting Rights Act of 1965, which was supported by 82%
of House Republicans and 94% of Senate Republicans. The same Democrat
standard bearers took their normal racists stances, this time with
Senator Fulbright leading the opposition effort.
It took the hard work of Republican Senate Minority Leader Everett
Dirksen and Republican Whip Thomas Kuchel to pass the Civil Rights Act
(Dirksen was presented a civil rights accomplishment award for the year
by the head of the NAACP in recognition of his efforts). Upon breaking
the Democrat filibuster of the 1964 Civil Rights Act, Republican Dirksen
took to the Senate floor and exclaimed "The time has come for equality
of opportunity in sharing in government, in education, and in
employment. It will not be stayed or denied. It is here!" (Full text of
speech). Sadly, Democrats and revisionist historians have all but
forgotten (and intentionally so) that it was Republican Dirksen, not the
divided Democrats, who made the Civil Rights Act a reality. Dirksen also
broke the Democrat filibuster of the 1957 Civil Rights Act that was
signed by Republican President Eisenhower.
Outside of Congress, the three most notorious opponents of school
integration were all Democrats:
- Orval Faubus, Democrat Governor of Arkansas and one of Bill Clinton's
political heroes
- George Wallace, Democrat Governor of Alabama
- Lester Maddox, Democrat Governor of Georgia
The most famous of the school desegregation standoffs involved Governor
Faubus. Democrat Faubus used police and state forces to block the
integration of a high school in Little Rock, Arkansas. The standoff was
settled and the school was integrated only after the intervention of
Republican President Dwight D. Eisenhower.
Even the Democrat Party organization resisted integration and refused to
allow minority participation for decades. Exclusion of minorities was
the general rule of the Democrat Party of many states for decades,
especially in Texas. This racist policy reached its peak under the New
Deal in the southern and western states, often known as the New Deal
Coalition region of FDR. The Supreme Court in Nixon v. Herndon declared
the practice of "white primaries" unconstitutional in 1927 after states
had passed laws barring Blacks from participating in Democrat primaries.
But the Democrat Parties did not yield to the Courts order. After Nixon
v. Herndon, Democrats simply made rules within the party's individual
executive committees to bar minorities from participating, which were
struck down in Nixon v. Condon in 1932. The Democrats, in typical racist
fashion, responded by using state parties to pass rules barring blacks
from participation. This decision was upheld in Grovey v. Townsend,
which was not overturned until 1944 by Smith v. Allwright. The Texas
Democrats responded with their usual ploys and turned to what was known
as the "Jaybird system" which used private Democrat clubs to hold
white-only votes on a slate of candidates, which were then transferred
to the Democrat party itself and put on their primary ballot as the only
choices. Terry v. Adams overturned the Jaybird system, prompting the
Democrats to institute blocks of unit rule voting procedures as well as
the infamous literacy tests and other Jim Crow regulations to
specifically block minorities from participating in their primaries. In
the end, it took 4 direct Supreme Court orders to end the Democrat's
"white primary" system, and after that it took countless additional
orders, several acts of Congress, and a constitutional amendment to tear
down the Jim Crow codes that preserved the Democrat's white primary for
decades beyond the final Supreme Court order ruling it officially
unconstitutional.
Hispanics in South Texas were treated especially poorly by the Democrat
Party, which relied heavily on a system of political bosses to coerce
and intimidate Hispanics into voting for Democrat primary candidates of
choice. Though coercion is illegal, this system, known as the Patron
system, is still in use to this day by local Democrat parties in some
heavy Hispanic communities of the southwest.
The next time Democrats take to the national airwaves to dishonestly
accuse Republicans of racial hatred, remember who the historical record
up until this very day points to as the real bigots: The Democrat Party.
In all possible ways, the Democrat Party is built around the pillars of
ultra leftists, many of whom are known participants in racism and/or
affiliates of racist hate groups. Consider the Democrat Party of today's
heroes and leaders:
- Franklin Delano Roosevelt, Democrat icon and orchestrator of Japanese
Internment
- Ex-House Minority Leader Dick Gephardt, former affiliate of a St.
Louis area racist group
- Ex-Senate President Pro Tempore Robert Byrd, former Ku Klux Klansman
known for making bigoted slurs on national television
- Rev. Jesse Jackson, Democrat keynote speaker and race hustler known
for making anti-Semitic slurs
- Rev. Al Sharpten, Democrat activist and perennial candidate and race
hustler known inciting anti-Semitic violence in New York City
- Sen. Ernest Hollings, leading Democrat Senator known for use of racial
slurs against several minority groups
- Lee P. Brown, former Clinton cabinet official and Democrat mayor of
Houston who won reelection using racial intimidation against Hispanic
voters
- Andrew Cuomo, former Clinton cabinet official and Democrat candidate
for NY Governor who made racist statements about a black opponent.
- Dan Rather, Democrat CBS news anchor and editorialist known for using
anti-black racial epithets on a national radio broadcast
- Donna Brazile, former Gore campaign manager known for making
anti-white racial attacks. Brazile has also worked for Jackson,
Gephardt, and Michael Dukakis
The simple truth is that the Democrat Party's history during this
century is one closely aligned to bigotry in a record stemming largely
out of the liberal New Deal era up until the modern day. Bigots are at
the center of the Democrat party's current leadership and role models.
And in a striking display of hypocrisy, many of the same Democrats who
dishonestly shout accusations of "bigotry" at conservatives are
practicing bigots of the most disgusting and disreputable kind
themselves.

Racist Democrats vs. Colorblind Republicans
by John Hawkins
07/05/2006
Sadly, Democrats have managed to trick a lot of black Americans into
believing that the GOP is a racist party. But, in truth, the Democratic
Party was, is, and will likely continue to be the home of far more
racists than the GOP. Let me explain why I say that.
To begin with, the Republican Party was founded by anti-slavery
activists, in contrast to the pro-slavery Democratic Party. It was Abe
Lincoln , a Republican President, who led the North to victory in the
Civil War and freed the slaves while the Democrats did everything in
their power to keep black Americans down.
Fast forward to 1898 in Wilmington, N.C., where Democrats murdered black
Republicans so they could stage, "the nation's only recorded coup
d'etat." Then, in 1922, Democrats in the Senate filibustered a
Republican attempt to make lynching a federal crime. A little later on,
FDR nominated former Klansman Hugo Black to the Supreme Court. Contrast
that to Republican President Dwight Eisenhower, who actually "sent
troops" to ensure that schools in Little Rock, Ark., were desegregated
and ordered the "complete desegregation of the Armed Forces." Noticing
any trends?
But, that was such a long time ago, right? Things really changed in the
'60s, didn't they? Yes, Americans -- particularly black Americans --
really owe Democratic President Lyndon Johnson a debt of gratitude for
destroying American families and causing the number of illegitimate
births to skyrocket -- by pushing entitlement programs that made it much
easier to have children out of wedlock.
Remember George "segregation now, segregation tomorrow and segregation
forever" Wallace standing in the door of an Alabama schoolhouse to keep
black children from being able to go to school with whites? George
Wallace was a Democrat. Remember Bull Connor turning water hoses and
dogs on civil rights protestors? Bull Connor was a Democrat.
But, what about the revolutionary Civil Rights Act of 1964 ? That's
where the Democrats showed their mettle and Republicans were proven to
be racists. Right? Wrong. 82% of Republicans voted for the Civil Rights
Act of 1964 versus only 64% of Democrats. Furthermore, a few years
later, it was Republican Richard Nixon who first put teeth behind
affirmative action.
But, what about today? You'd think that with Democrats receiving upwards
of 90% of the black vote in some cases, that there would be few, if any,
prominent black Republicans while black Americans would be amongst the
biggest power players in the Democratic Party. However, the opposite has
often turned out to be true. Once you look past the gerrymandered
districts that have to remain in place because so many liberal whites
simply won't vote for black candidates (There are only five black
Democrats in the House representing majority white districts), you'll
see that the Republican Party has surpassed the Democrats in many areas.
Who's the only black American currently on the Supreme Court? Clarence
Thomas . The first black Secretary of State? Colin Powell . The first
black woman ever to be a Secretary of State? Condi Rice .
Who's one of the fill-ins for the most popular conservative radio host
on earth, Rush Limbaugh ? Walter Williams. The most desired 2008 nominee
as selected by the right side of the blogosphere in 2006? Condi Rice.
Who did those same bloggers select as the most desired nominee to
replace Sandra Day O'Connor when she retired? Janice Rogers Brown tied
for first place.
Meanwhile, what do we see from Democrats? We see Oreo cookies being
thrown at Maryland's black U.S. Senate candidate Michael Steele and
black Republicans being called "Uncle Toms" and compared to "Aunt Jemima
."
Moreover, let's take a look at a couple of studies that actually set out
to compare how racist Republicans and Democrats actually are. First off,
a professor from Yale looked at voting patterns and she found that:
"...(W)hite Republicans nationally are 25 percentage points more
likely on average to vote for the Democratic senatorial candidate when
the GOP hopeful is black. ...In House races, white Democrats are 38
percentage points less likely to vote Democratic if their candidate is
black."
It would have been interesting for them to poll black Republicans and
Democrats as well, for comparison's sake, but however you slice it,
there are a lot more white Democrats than white Republicans willing to
defect to the other side rather than vote for a black candidate.
Then there is another study, this time from a professor at Stanford --
of how much government largesse Democrats and Republicans believe people
deserved to be given after Katrina -- and, surprise, surprise: Democrats
behaved in a racist fashion while Republicans didn't:
"But for Democrats, race mattered -- and in a disturbing way.
Overall, Democrats were willing to give whites about $1,500 more than
they chose to give to a black or other minority...." Republicans are
likely to be more stringent, both in terms of money and time, Iyengar
said. "However, their position is 'principled' in the sense that it
stems from a strong belief in individualism (as opposed to handouts).
Thus their responses to the assistance questions are relatively
invariant across the different media conditions. Independents and
Democrats, on the other hand, are more likely to be affected by racial
cues."
Here's the reality: there are racists in both parties. But, there are a
lot more of them in the Democratic Party and there always have been. But
ironically, Democrats have managed to use the GOP's belief in a
colorblind America against us. Because so many Democrats have no problem
with using racial discrimination for political purposes, they'll support
policies like reparations, Affirmative Action, and racial quotas that
Republicans simply won't. Then they deftly distort and exploit incidents
like the Katrina rescue efforts and Bill Bennett's condemnation of the
idea that black babies could be aborted to reduce the crime rate to
convince black Americans that the GOP hates black Americans.
This is all despite the fact that for a large number of black Americans,
the GOP is a much better fit than the Democratic Party. The GOP is the
party that's friendly to religion, anti-abortion, against gay marriage,
tough on crime, and for low taxes and school vouchers. Yet, so many
black Americans have been deceived into sticking with the Democrats even
though the Dems do so many things that are harmful to our country as a
whole and to black Americans in particular.
That's why if you're a black American who thinks the GOP better
represents your views than the Democratic Party, then it's time to join
the Republican Party. Don't let the Democrats lie to you and tell you
that the GOP is full of racists, especially when there are so many
distinguished black Americans out there who can tell you otherwise. Look
to Condi Rice, Colin Powell, Rod Paige , Thomas Sowell , Walter
Williams, Larry Elder , J.C. Watts, Michael Steele, Ken Blackwell , Lynn
Swann -- and you'll see that the GOP judges people not "by the color of
their skin but by the content of their character."

The True History of the Democratic Racist Party
Christian Underground Newsletter ^ | 11-17-05 | Larry Elder
Posted on Thursday, November 17, 2005 4:31:49 AM by Rhadaghast
So much for the Republican "outreach" to black voters, with only 2
percent of blacks "approving" of the president's performance.
If only blacks knew of the true history of the Democratic Party.
"Black History Month" has been observed for 29 years, yet many blacks
know little to nothing about the parties' respective roles in advancing
or hindering the civil rights of blacks. How many blacks know that
following the Civil War, 23 blacks -- 13 of them ex-slaves -- were
elected to Congress, all as Republicans? The first black Democrat was
not elected to Congress until 1935, from the state of Illinois. The
first black congressional Democrat from a Southern state was not elected
until 1973.
Democrats, in 1854, passed the Kansas-Nebraska Act. This overturned the
Missouri Compromise and allowed for the importation of slaves into the
territories. Disgusted with the passage of this Act, free-soilers and
anti-slavery members of the Whig and Democratic parties founded the
Republican Party -- not just to stop the spread of slavery, but to
eventually abolish it.
How many blacks know that blacks founded the Texas Republican Party? On
July 4, 1867, in Houston, Texas, 150 blacks and 20 whites formed the
party. No, not the Black Texas Republican Party, they founded the Texas
Republican Party. Blacks across Southern states also founded the
Republican parties in their states.
Fugitive slave laws? In 1850, Democrats passed the Fugitive Slave Law.
If merely accused of being a slave, even if the person enjoyed freedom
all of his or her life (as approximately 11 percent of blacks did just
before the Civil War), the person lost the right to representation by an
attorney, the right to trial by jury, and the right to habeas corpus.
Emancipation? Republican President Abraham Lincoln issued the
Emancipation Proclamation during the Civil War. In 1865, the 13th
Amendment emancipating the slaves was passed with 100 percent of
Republicans (88 of 88 in the House, 30 of 30 in the Senate) voting for
it. Only 23 percent of Democrats (16 of 66 in the House, 3 of 8 in the
Senate) voted for it.
Civil rights laws? In 1868, the 14th Amendment was passed giving the
newly emancipated blacks full civil rights and federal guarantee of
those rights, superseding any state laws. Every single voting Republican
(128 of 134 -- with 6 not voting -- in the House, and 30 of 32 -- with 2
not voting -- in the Senate) voted for the 14th Amendment. Not a single
Democrat (zero of 36 in the House, zero of 6 in the Senate) voted for
it.
Right to vote? When Southern states balked at implementing the 14th
Amendment, Congress came back and passed the 15th Amendment in 1870,
guaranteeing blacks the right to vote. Every single Republican voted for
it, with every Democrat voting against it.
Ku Klux Klan? In 1872 congressional investigations, Democrats admitted
beginning the Klan as an effort to stop the spread of the Republican
Party and to re-establish Democratic control in Southern states. As PBS'
"American Experience" notes, "In outright defiance of the Republican-led
federal government, Southern Democrats formed organizations that
violently intimidated blacks and Republicans who tried to win political
power. The most prominent of these, the Ku Klux Klan, was formed in
Pulaski, Tenn., in 1865." Blacks, who were all Republican at that time,
became the primary targets of violence.
Jim Crow laws? Between 1870 and 1875, the Republican Congress passed
many pro-black civil rights laws. But in 1876, Democrats took control of
the House, and no further race-based civil rights laws passed until
1957. In 1892, Democrats gained control of the House, the Senate and the
White House, and repealed all the Republican-passed civil rights laws.
That enabled the Southern Democrats to pass the Jim Crow laws, poll
taxes, literacy tests, and so on, in their individual states.
Civil rights in the '60s? Only 64 percent of Democrats in Congress voted
for the 1964 Civil Rights Act (153 for, 91 against in the House; and 46
for, 21 against in the Senate). But 80 percent of Republicans (136 for,
35 against in the House; and 27 for, 6 against in the Senate) voted for
the 1964 Act.
What about the reviled, allegedly anti-black, Republican "Southern
strategy"? Pat Buchanan, writing for Richard Nixon (who became the
Republican Party candidate two years later) coined the term "Southern
strategy." They expected the "strategy" to ultimately result in the
complete marginalization of racist Southern Democrats. "We would build
our Republican Party on a foundation of states' rights, human rights,
small government, and a strong national defense," said Buchanan, "and
leave it to the 'party of [Democratic Georgia Gov. Lester] Maddox, [1966
Democratic challenger against Spiro Agnew for Maryland governor George]
Mahoney, and [Democratic Alabama Gov. George] Wallace to squeeze the
last ounces of political juice out of the rotting fruit of racial
injustice.'" And President Richard Nixon, Republican, implemented the
first federal affirmative action (race-based preference) laws with goals
and timetables.
So next "Black History Month," pass some of this stuff along.

Acting As Tea Party Members, Democrats Post Racists Fliers Around Butte
County
By Gate on April 16, 2011 4:15 AM
by Chuck Wolk
Acting as if they are Tea Party members of Butte County, Democrats have
been going around posting fliers with racists images on them. It seems
that those who are comfortable with national unemployment at double
digits, Chico unemployment at 12.3%, unemployment for 18 & 19-year old's
above 25%, inflation nearing double digit annually, and $5 gasoline
prices that have made most families cancel summer vacation plans, are so
afraid of the Tea Party that they want to disrupt it's rally being held
in Chico's Downtown Plaza on Monday April 18th. It's the same old
tactics being used by the same old lefty loonies who cannot stand the
fact that America is tired of the Socialist policies of the left that
have destroyed America's prosperity to the point that even Blacks are
turning against Obama and the Democrats.
Do I have proof that Democrats are posting the fliers? No more than the
media and the left has proof that it was a member of the local Tea
Party. I do believe that it is these kinds of tactics that have been
used by the left in the past. When you take into consideration that
even Democrats in Washington have been accusing the Tea Party of having
racist elements to it, and the way the Democrat party gets their cohorts
in the MSM to promote their lies while covering up the evil they do, I
am convinced that these fliers were posted by a Democrat supporter.
We should have seen this recent attack coming after what Obama said when
he officially announced his plans to run for re-election. During his
announcement he made sure the country knew that he believes "race is a
key component in the tea party protests". With that statement, Obama and
the Democrats told their lefty loonies to start attacking any American
citizen who may be practicing their right to disagree with him, by
calling them a racist. It looks like the that includes posting racists
fliers to make everyone believe the lie. Oh I know that the media is
reporting Obama thanked the Tea party for getting Americans involved in
politics, but that's just because of what he said about the Tea party
having a racists component to it. Mark my words, before the 2012
election is over, Obama and his wife will have accused both the Tea
Party and Republicans of having many supporters who are racists, just as
he has in the past.
I would suggest that every person who disagrees with the Democrats to be
ready for a fight. The media will carry the water for the left as they
call us every name in the book, and being called a racist is something
we need to get used to as we go forward in the next year and a half to
remove them from power. You should also be ready for some of Obama's
supporters on the left to bring their thuggish attitude with them as
they did during the many Tea Party rallies last year. That includes the
possibility of some elements of the Democrat Party which could be
packing heat. Yes, I mean guns. I only offer that warning because of
what Obama said back on June 14, 2008 when he was still fighting Hillary
for the Democrat nomination. Obama told supporters at a town hall
meeting at the Radnor Middle School in Wayne, Pa.
"Mobster wisdom tells us never to bring a knife to a gun fight, but
what does political wisdom say about bringing a gun to a knife fight? If
they bring a knife to the fight, we bring a gun, because from what I
understand folks in Philly like a good brawl. I've seen Eagles fans."
He says this at a place that normally teaches children, a middle school.
We are talking about school in a city near Philadelphia. We all know of
the reputation Philadelphia has for teenage gang members shooting each.
Children learn at an early age what gun violence is, yet Obama dared to
use such language in a speech to supporters there. So even though
Obama's has admitted that he would like to ban all hand guns in America,
he had no problem telling a bunch of supporters to bring a gun to a
political fight. Many of the supporters probably had children attending
this school. Children who could be old enough to vote this year. Do you
think they will remember what he told their parents? If they do,
considering Philadelphia is but a few miles away, do you think they may
take aim at the Tea party members who Obama and the Democrats have been
calling racists? I only ask because it was in Philadelphia where some
"New Black Panther" (NBP) brothers (video below) were violating the
civil rights of voters by wielding clubs as they intimidated them
outside a polling station in Philadelphia.

Jewish World Review March 8, 2001 / 13 Adar, 5761
Michelle Malkin
Sen. Robert Byrd, ex-Klansman
http://www.jewishworldreview.com -- EX-KLANSMAN Robert Byrd, the senior
senator from West Virginia, casually used the phrase "white nigger"
twice on national TV this weekend. Enraged civil rights groups organized
a protest campaign against Sen. Byrd and demanded that he undergo
sensitivity training ... not. The ex-Klansman, you see, is a Democrat.
Democrats can join hate groups and utter the ugliest racial slurs and
get away with it because they are Democrats. They belong to the party of
racial tolerance and understanding. They're paragons of virtue, and the
rest of us are bigoted rubes.
The ex-Klansman showed his true colors when asked by Fox News Sunday
morning talk show host Tony Snow about the state of race relations in
America. Sen. Byrd warned: "There are white niggers. I've seen a lot of
white niggers in my time. I'm going to use that word. We just need to
work together to make our country a better country, and I'd just as soon
quit talking about it so much."
The ex-Klansman, famed for Beltway blowhardism, should have quit talking
a lot sooner. Why any prominent politician in his right mind would
publicly and deliberately use the poisonous epithet "nigger" -- which
most daily newspapers refuse to spell out, no matter the context -- is
beyond comprehension. It's an open question as to whether the
rant-prone, 83-year-old Byrd is even in his right mind, but senility
doesn't excuse bigotry.
The ex-Klansman's admirers praise his historical knowledge, mastery of
procedural rules, and outspokenness. They refer to the Senate's senior
Democrat as the "conscience of the Senate." They downplay his
white-sheet-wearing days as a "brief mistake" -- as if joining the Klan
were like knocking over a glass of water. Oopsy.
This ex-Klansman wasn't just a passive member of the nation's most
notorious hate group. According to news accounts and biographical
information, Sen. Byrd was a "Kleagle" -- an official recruiter who
signed up members for $10 a head. He said he joined because it "offered
excitement" and because the Klan was an "effective force" in "promoting
traditional American values." Nothing like the thrill of gathering
'round a midnight bonfire, roasting s'mores, tying nooses, and promoting
white supremacy with a bunch of your hooded friends.
The ex-Klansman allegedly ended his ties with the group in 1943. He may
have stopped paying dues, but he continued to pay homage to the KKK.
Republicans in West Virginia discovered a letter Sen. Byrd had written
to the Imperial Wizard of the KKK three years after he says he abandoned
the group. He wrote: "The Klan is needed today as never before and I am
anxious to see its rebirth here in West Virginia" and "in every state in
the Union."
The ex-Klansman later filibustered the landmark 1964 Civil Rights Act --
supported by a majority of those "mean-spirited" Republicans -- for more
than 14 hours. He also opposed the nominations of the Supreme Court's
two black justices, liberal Thurgood Marshall and conservative Clarence
Thomas. In fact, the ex-Klansman had the gall to accuse Justice Thomas
of "injecting racism" into the Senate hearings. Meanwhile, author Graham
Smith recently discovered another letter Sen. Byrd wrote after he quit
the KKK, this time attacking desegregation of the armed forces.
The ex-Klansman vowed never to fight "with a Negro by my side. Rather I
should die a thousand times, and see Old Glory trampled in the dirt
never to rise again, than to see this beloved land of ours become
degraded by race mongrels, a throwback to the blackest specimen from the
wilds."
If this ex-Klansman were a conservative Republican, he would never hear
the end of his sordid past. "Ex-Klansman who opposed civil rights and
black justices" would appear in every reference to Sen. Byrd. And even
the "ex-" would be in doubt. Maxine Waters and Ralph Neas and Julianne
Malveaux and Al Sharpton and all the other left-wing bloodhounds who
sniff racism in every crevice of American life would be barking up a
storm over Sen. Byrd's latest fulminations. Instead, the attack dogs are
busy decrying latent racial bigotry where it doesn't exist, while the
real thing roams wild and free in their own political backyard.

Top 10 Examples of NAACP Racism
by Daniel J. Flynn
08/02/2010
The National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP)
condemned the Tea Party movement last month for alleged bigotry within
its ranks. The mainstream always seems extreme to extremists. As the
following top-ten list demonstrates, the NAACP, a hotbed of political
hotheads in recent years, isnt the best organization to be lecturing
others about extremism.
10. In March 2008, ABC News revealed that Barack Obama s pastor had
preached that African Americans should sing not God Bless America, God
Damn America, that 9/11 proved that Americas chickens are coming home
to roost, and that the U.S. government invented AIDS. The following
month, on April 28, 2008, the NAACPs Detroit chapter honored the Rev.
Jeremiah Wright as a keynote speaker at a massive dinner.
9. In 2000, the NAACP filed an amicus curiae brief on behalf of Mumia
Abu Jamal , the former Black Panther who murdered a white police officer
in 1981. I shot the motherf----- and I hope the motherf----- dies,
three witnesses heard a wounded Abu Jamal exclaim in a Philadelphia
hospital.
8. The rhetoric of Julian Bond , chairman of the NAACP from 1998 to
2000, exemplifies the organizations migration from the mainstream to
the extreme. In his words, Republicans are the white peoples party
and a crazed swarm of right-wing locusts, America morphs into a place
where white supremacy is everywhere, and the George W. Bush
Administration exemplifies a regime whose devotion to the Confederacy
is nearly canine in its uncritical affection.
7. On July 1, 1934, W.E.B. Du Bois resigned from the organization he
helped found after an ugly feud with the NAACPs more moderate leaders,
crudely accusing Walter White, an African American, of being white. The
previous year, Du Bois called for a plan that will involve increased
segregation and perhaps migration for African Americans. The thinking
colored people of the United States must stop being stampeded by the
word segregation, Du Bois insisted in the January 1934 issue of The
Crises, adding four months later: I fight segregation with
segregation. The parting of ways saved the NAACP further embarrassment.
Their founder made an ill-advised trip to Nazi Germany in 1936 that
resulted in, among other lamentable items, The German Case against
Jews, an apologia in which Du Bois excused German anti-Semitism as a
reasoned prejudice based on economic fear.
6. For many, April 8, 1994 was the day the NAACP jumped the shark. The
group invited a rogues gallery of crackpots, extremists, and racists to
a secret meeting, dubbed (take a deep breath): a deliberate mechanism
for communication and interrelations between representative leaders of
the progressive community and the NAACP within the inclusive mission of
the Chavis administration and the African-centered self-determined
program thrust of the new NAACP. Attendees included black supremacist
Leonard Jeffries , famous for his sun people/ice people dichotomy to
explain the differences between blacks and whites; Maulana Karenga , the
originator of Kwanzaa who went to prison for torturing two women; and
fringe presidential candidate Lenora Fulani .
5. Louis Farrakhan teaches that an evil scientist named Yakub created
white people, claims to have been abducted in a UFO, and has made a
mountain of anti-Semitic utterances. So it shocked many when the NAACP
invited the Nation of Islam grand panjandrum to participate in a
leadership summit on June 12-14, 1997.
4. When Al Gore selected Joe Lieberman as his running mate in 2000,
Dallas NAACP chapter head Lee Alcorn responded with alarm that a Jewish
American had been selected on a national ticket. Im concerned about,
you know, any kind of Jewish candidate, you know, and Im concerned
about the Democratic Party, Alcorn said on a radio program. And if we
get a Jew person, then what Im wondering is, I mean, what is this
movement for, you know? African Americans, the NAACP leader maintained,
need to be suspicious of any kind of partnerships between the Jews at
that kind of level because we know that their interest primarily has to
do with, you know, money and these kind of things.
3. The Obama Administration bounced Van Jones out of its administration
after the media learned he had led a Communist organization, signed a
petition claiming that the Bush Administration may indeed have
deliberately allowed 9/11 to happen, and organized a vigil on September
12, 2001 memorializing the victims of U.S. imperialism. Though Jones was
ultimately too extreme for the U.S. President, he was just right for the
NAACPs president. On February 26, 2010, the NAACPs Image Awards
bestowed a Presidents Award upon Van Jones.
2. In the 1970s, a judge sentenced Benjamin Chavis to prison for his
role in the firebombing a white-owned grocery store in a black part of
Wilmington, N.C. A judge overturned his conviction on a technicality in
1980, with Chaviss makeover so complete that the NAACP elected him
chairman on April 9, 1993. A few months later, Chavis demanded the
inclusion of the Nation of Islam in a 30th anniversary celebration of
the March on Washington . He explained, I want everybody here to know
that the NAACP is standing with the Nation of Islam. Angela Davis,
Sister Souljah , and Leonard Jeffries were among the extremists Chavis
extended an olive branch to during his short tenure as NAACP leader.
Chavis, a former Christian minister, has joined the Nation of Islam
since his firing from the NAACP.
1. Ten years after the NAACP and W.E.B. Du Bois originally parted
company in 1934, the civil rights organization welcomed him back.
Whereas Du Boiss peculiar racial views led to the first parting, his
support for communism led to the final parting in 1948. Du Bois
subsequently eulogized Stalin as a great and courageous man that had
been attacked and slandered as few men of power have been, likened
North Korean Communists to the American patriots of 1776, accepted a
Lenin Peace Prize, was feted with a nation holiday in Maoist China,
joined the Communist Party USA , renounced his American citizenship, and
emigrated to Kwame Nkrumah s Ghana.
Rather than unnamed racists operating on the peripheries, or
six-degrees-of-separation logic that lamely attempts to project Xs
extremism upon Y, the above examples involve the NAACPs official acts
and duly elected leaders. In a few cases, such as with Lee Alcorn and
W.E.B. Du Bois, the NAACP repudiated the extremism and severed ties. In
each instance, the NAACPs leadership, and not yahoos acting in its
name, brought shame upon the organization.
For most of its history, the NAACP has served as a force of political
moderation and sought the laudable goal of an integrated society where
people of color could reach their fullest human potential unhampered by
discrimination. For most of its recent history, the NAACP has
self-righteously designated itself the arbiter of who is and who is not
a racisteven as it sponsors black racists.
What we take issue with is the Tea Partys continued tolerance for
bigotry and bigoted statements, NAACP CEO Ben Jealous remarked upon his
groups anti-Tea Party resolution. The time has come for them to accept
the responsibility that comes with influence and make clear there is no
place for racism and anti-Semitism, homophobia and other forms of
bigotry in their movement.

The Racism of the NAACP
by Jeff Dunetz
The NAACP, once an important Civil Rights organization, has not only
forgotten its mission, but has degenerated into what it was formed to
prevent, it has become a racist organization.
If you go to the groups website you can read all about the groups
original goals:
Mission
The mission of the National Association for the Advancement of
Colored People is to ensure the political, educational, social, and
economic equality of rights of all persons and to eliminate race-based
discrimination.
Vision Statement
The vision of the National Association for the Advancement of
Colored People is to ensure a society in which all individuals have
equal rights without discrimination based on race.
Notice it calls for eliminating race-based discrimination against all
persons and equal rights without discrimination for all individuals. Yet
too many incidents in recent history has shown the group has strayed far
away from its goals.
Take for example this rant by SEIU Executive VP Gerry Hudson where he
portrays African-American workers as easy dupes it doesnt take a
whole lot to argue African-American workers to another place, and
stereotypes those white workers are so f***ing rabidly racist.
Essentially he is saying that the black people he represents are all
weak-minded idiots and the whites are all racists. In the old days the
NAACP would have blasted Mr. Hudson for his racist comments about Blacks
and Whites. But these aint the old days.
When Harry Reid compared the fight for a health care bill to the fight
to end slavery and to ensure equal protection under the law for African
Americans, many of us were disgusted by the comparison of centuries of
bondage and oppression to the passage of a piece of legislation. After
all there are certain terms that have only one meaning, the Holocaust,
Apartheid, and the Civil Rights movement are among them. To use those
terms in any other context cheapens their horror.
The NAACP was silent about Reids unfortunate comparison.
In 2007 Condoleezza Rice met with the Palestinians after the Annapolis
conference, she told them that she felt Fatahs plight was similar to
that of the Blacks fighting for civil rights in the 60s and compared
Palestinian President Abbas to Dr.Martin Luther King. Essentially
comparing a terrorist to a man of peace, a man who sends terrorists to
blow up families to a man who worked to protect families and their
future. Yet here too the NAACP was silent.
Then there is the case of Kenneth Gladney. An African American, Mr.
Gladney was the only victim of a racist hate crime at a Tea Party event.
Gladney was viciously beaten and called the N word at a Tea Party last
August. He reached out to the NAACP for help, but Ken Gladney made a big
mistake, you see he was part of the Tea Party protest and the ones that
beat him up were members of the SEIU sent by the progressive Democrats
to scare away those who object to the Obamacare plans.
Instead of helping Gladney, the NAACP called Gladney an Uncle Tom and
helped the SEIU thugs who put him in a wheelchair.
Incredibly the NAACP took the side of the racists who beat him up.
What about the now famous New Black Panther case? A group like the NAACP
whos mission is trying to ensure a society in which all individuals
have equal rights without discrimination based on race, should have been
calling on the DOJ to prosecute the case to the fullest extent of the
law. Not this NAACP. Once again, the Civil Rights group took the side
of the racists, and sent letters to the DOJ urging the dismissal of the
case. In fact they have been totally silent about all of the racist
statements from the New Black Panther leadership about killing cracker
babies.
Today the National Convention of the NAACP is expected to pass a
resolution calling for all people of good will to repudiate the racism
of the Tea Parties, and to stand in opposition to its drive to push our
country back to the pre-civil rights era.
What a horror! What an abandonment of their vision! In the short history
of the Tea Party there has been one racist incident, one, and it was a
Tea Party protester who was the victim. The NAACP has abandoned its
mission and become a partisan political organization.
Sadly the NAACP has forgotten the words of Dr. Martin Luther King:
This is our hope. This is the faith with which I return to the
South. With this faith we will be able to hew out of the mountain of
despair a stone of hope. With this faith we will be able to transform
the jangling discords of our nation into a beautiful symphony of
brotherhood. With this faith we will be able to work together, to pray
together, to struggle together, to go to jail together, to stand up for
freedom together, knowing that we will be free one day.

>whatever the hell you want to be in your fucking klan:
http://dailycaller.com/2011/02/21/the-naacps-racism-double-standard/
For the past week, Americans who consider themselves aligned with the
Tea Party movement have suffered the indignity of being falsely labeled
racist by the NAACP and their pro-bono publicity managers, the main
stream media. The constant calls to repudiate the racists from your
ranks have not only been insulting, but have also served to force a
false standard upon Americas fastest-growing and most vibrant political
movement that no other group could ever live up to nor would ever be
asked to live up to.
While the media has chosen to do the Democratic Partys bidding in
allowing for the NAACP to negatively and falsely brand the millions
strong, loosely affiliated tea party phenomenon as racist, the moral
indignation over race and racism has taken center stage in a summer of
economic and political discontent.
The NAACP, an undeniable weapon in the Democratic Partys arsenal, was
more than happy to exploit this nations sensitive racial schism for
possible political gain. The Democratic Party and the NAACP, needless to
say, are playing with fire.
From the beginning of the Tea Party movement, the Left, its aiders and
abettors at MSNBC, the NY Times and other reliable left of center
propaganda venues, raised race as the driving force behind the movement,
even though the evidence was never there. MSNBC even egregiously cut off
a black protesters head in a photograph of a man carrying a gun to a
rally in order to discuss that anti-black racism was rearing its head in
America.
But it got even more blatant when Congressmen Andre Carson and John
Lewis and other Congressional Black Caucus members staged a walk through
the Tea Party crowd in front of the capitol the day before the health
care vote. They claimed they were threatened by a violent mob and were
subjected to the vile N word slur fifteen times. With the unpopularity
of the toxic health care bill that the majority of Americans did not
want, the Democrats needed a November strategy. Neutralizing the growing
Tea Party movement with charges of racism was clearly its post-health
care reform vote priority.
What they did not expect was that new media would successfully challenge
the propaganda of the old media and the Congressmens racial smear.
First, my $100,000 video challenge for any evidence of racism was met
with crickets. The CBC, looking for a fight, and taking to the airwaves
to accuse the Tea Party of racism made a 180 degree turn and went into
hiding when challenged on the truthfulness of the outrageous
allegations. From camera hogs to ostriches in snap of a finger.
When the media chose to ignore that Representatives Lewis and Carsons
story was falling apart, we dug deeper. We found four videos from the
moment Rep. Carson claimed the racist Tea Party incident occurred. The
four videos, which include audio, show beyond a reasonable doubt that
the incident was a manufactured lie. That lie that was supposed to be
the centerpiece in the Democratic strategy to destroy the Tea Party. The
videos had been available on YouTube almost immediately after the
incident occurred and could have been found by any reporter interested
in investigating the truthfulness of Rep. Carsons claim.
While the media ignored these newsworthy revelations, the CBC remained
in hiding and ignored a letter in good faith from the Tea Party
Federation repudiating all forms of racism, but also asking for the
CBCs help in investigating the Capitol Hill incident. The silence from
the CBC was deafening.
The NAACP and the Congressional Black Caucus do not want racial harmony.
They want political victory, and the race card is their Stradivarius.
Three months later, the NAACP decided to double-down on the fabricated
Tea Party/racism narrative and has the gall to include the disproved
Capitol Hill N Word non-incident as their formal condemnation of the
Tea Party. Simply by snapping its figures, the mainstream media again
parroted lies. The Tea Party was guilty until it proved itself innocent.
A most un-American and, dare I say, culturally Marxist construct.
In fact, its worse. The media that provided the left a platform to
accuse the Tea Party, all the while refusing to air any exculpatory
evidence. Again, the mainstream media inserts itself as the number one
weapon in the progressive weapons stash. Political correctness, as the
Duke Lacrosse case exemplified, trumps all in PC America and her
afflicted media.
But the new media will not be silenced. It will not allow for the main
stream media to propagate hateful and hurtful lies in order to save the
Democratic Party from the toxic choices it has made over the past few
years. And by bringing up race, and demanding a zero tolerance of
racism, the left, and the NAACP in particular, has opened itself up for
scrutiny.
We are in possession of a video from in which Shirley Sherrod, USDA
Georgia Director of Rural Development, speaks at the NAACP Freedom Fund
dinner in Georgia. In her meandering speech to what appears to be an
all-black audience, this federally appointed executive bureaucrat lays
out in stark detail, that her federal duties are managed through the
prism of race and class distinctions.
In the first video, Sherrod describes how she racially discriminates
against a white farmer. She describes how she is torn over how much she
will choose to help him. And, she admits that she doesnt do everything
she can for him, because he is white. Eventually, her basic humanity
informs that this white man is poor and needs help. But she decides that
he should get help from one of his own kind. She refers him to a white
lawyer.
Sherrods racist tale is received by the NAACP audience with nodding
approval and murmurs of recognition and agreement. Hardly the behavior
of the group now holding itself up as the supreme judge of another
groups racial tolerance.
The second video affirms the real reason there is tension between the
Democratic Party and a growing mass of middle Americans and its not
because of race.
The NAACP which has transformed from a civil rights group to a
propaganda arm of the Democratic Party and social-justice politics,
supports a new America that relies less on individualism,
entrepreneurialism and American grit, but instead giddily embraces, the
un-American notion of unaccountability and government dependence.
Shirley Sherrod, a federal appointee who oversees over a billion dollars
of federal funds, nearly begs black men and women into taking government
jobs at USDA because they wont get fired.
This is why the Democratic Party is scared. This is why the NAACP is
scared. This is why black conservatives, previously marginalized as
Uncle Toms by these progressive bullies, and shamefully, the NAACP,
are coming out of the woodwork to join and, in many cases, lead the Tea
Party movement.
The emerging Tea Party nation understands that the media has focused on
the manufactured racial schism while intentionally ignoring the schism
between free market thinkers and government expansionists, that the
latter of which is brazen in its desire to transform America into a
European-model welfare state with a healthy dose of socialism.
Its unfortunate that the NAACPs recent resolution and false
accusations have forced us to show you video 1 when video 2 is the
bigger problem. Thats not to say video 1 is not a problem, but this
country can ill afford, in this time of economic peril, to waste our
time poking and prodding at the racial hornets nest that was supposed
to have been removed with this post-racial presidency. But now President
Obama and the modern-day Democrat party reveal they are anything but
post-racial.
Yet again, the juxtaposition of the real video evidence shown here
versus the mainstream medias straight faced reportage of the NAACPs
baseless accusations demonstrates that, once again, the American main
stream media has asserted itself as the number one enemy of the truth,
when the facts dont fit the left-wing narrative. Like the NAACP, it has
become no better than Al Sharpton and Jesse Jackson in its willingness
to exploit race for political ends and their unflinching support of the
Obamas left-wing agenda.

The Long, Sad, Violent History of Democrats'
Racial Hatred for Blacks
Perry Drake
May 2003
It has always seemed unnatural and unwise to me whenever I hear someone
who's been slandered by a particularly egregious lie reply that they're
not going to dignify that accusation with a response.
For it has always been crystal clear to me that whenever your honor,
integrity and reputation are called into question that you should be
quick, thorough and when circumstances demand quite loud in defense
of them.
Otherwise, people will assume that the accusation must carry some weight
and the falsity levied against you just might end up sticking.
That's what has happened to the political party that I belong to the
Republicans. For decades the Party of Lincoln has been under almost
constant assault for being "racist" and "openly hostile" to blacks.
However, nothing could be further from the truth but you would never
know it by the party's spineless, practically nonexistent defense of its
record on race and civil rights.
From the days of Lincoln until the present, blacks have had no better
friend, party-wise, than the Republicans. Since its inception in the
mid-19th century, the GOP has built an exemplary record on civil rights,
particularly if you want to use the Democrat Party as a comparison.
The party's first president, Abraham Lincoln, issued the Emancipation
Proclamation on Jan. 1, 1863, the height of the Civil War, squelching
any chance that the European powers of the day would intervene in the
conflict in favor of the Confederacy. With the stroke of his pen,
Lincoln destroyed the last real hope the Confederacy had for a victory.
Soon after the war ended, it was a Republican-controlled Congress that
rammed through the 13th, 14th and 15th Amendments to the Constitution
that, among other things, abolished slavery, guaranteed equal protection
and due process and addressed blacks' right to vote.
In the late 19th century, Democrat governors and Democrat-controlled
state legislatures in the South couldn't pass Jim Crow laws fast enough.
Those Democrats created a nearly century-long, legal racial caste system
that relegated blacks to the lowest educational, political, economic and
social strata. I have family members who grew up under Jim Crow. To hear
them tell it, it weren't no joke.
And let us not forget that during the same period it was Democrats
throughout the United States who organized and ran America's premier
terrorist organization the Ku Klux Klan.
And speaking of the Klan, remember the great Democrat President Woodrow
Wilson? After a screening of D.W. Griffith's paean to the Ku Klux Klan,
"Birth of a Nation," Wilson, turned-movie critic, said of the film: "It
is like writing history with lightning. And my only regret is that it is
all so terribly true."
Needless to say, the NAACP had a different outlook. After its viewing,
the civil rights organization was mortified to the point of launching a
nationwide protest in 1915 against the film. The group was equally
appalled by President Wilson's comments and it launched a public protest
against him.
Before we move on, one more thing about President Wilson. He was the
president who led our nation into WWI with the ringing declaration that
it was to make the world "safe for democracy." In Woodrow's mind,
though, "democracy" applied to everyone except those annoying little
dark-skinned people in America who are always clamoring for civil
rights. In 1913, Wilson introduced segregation into the federal
government.
Yes, dear readers, the man who is worshipped as the utmost "progressive"
(where and by who have you heard that term used lately?) of his time
allowed federal officials to segregate "toilets, cafeterias and work"
areas of various federal departments.
It was left to Wilson's successor, Republican Warren G. Harding to scrap
the segregation policy. And Warren G. didn't stop there. In 1922,
Harding delivered a bold speech in Birmingham, Ala., (A Democrat
stronghold that was later known by blacks as "Bombingham") in which he
called for black equality. Up to then, no U.S. president had ever spoken
so forcefully about civil rights.
Harding was elected in 1920. Funny thing about the Republican Party
platform that Harding ran under. It called for federal anti-lynching
legislation. Guess which party didn't? If you said Democrat, go to the
head of the line.
Moving on, in answer to the burgeoning civil rights movement in the
'50s, it was Democrat governors and Democrat-controlled state
legislatures in the South that placed the Confederate battle flag on
their state capitol flags. It's an issue that continues to inflame
racial passions even today.
In 1957, Orval Faubus, the governor of Arkansas, called out his state's
National Guard to prevent the integration of Central High School in
Little Rock. In response, President Dwight D. Eisenhower sent U.S.
troops to the city to escort nine frightened black teens into the school
past riotous mobs inflamed by Faubus' defiance of a federal court order.
Faubus was a Democrat. Eisenhower was a Republican.
On June 11, 1963, Alabama Gov. George Wallace stood in the doorway of
the University of Alabama to block its integration. Wallace was a
Democrat. Now, I grant you, John F. Kennedy was the Democrat president
who federalized the Alabama National Guard and ordered its units to the
university to force its doors open to black students. But it's not
generally known that the then-Sen. Kennedy with an eye on the Democrat
presidential nomination for 1960 voted against the Civil Rights Act of
1957, the law that really got the ball rolling on federal civil rights
legislation.
And it was Kennedy's brother, Robert, who in 1964 assisted the FBI's
efforts to destroy Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. by approving the
wiretapping of the man considered the heart and soul of the civil rights
movement.
And to think at one time you could find in black homes across the nation
what I used to call the Black Person's Trinity: chintzy, black-velvet
portraits of JFK, RFK and Dr. King painted side by side.
As far as other important civil rights legislation, the 1964 Civil
Rights Act and the Voting Rights Act of 1965 would never have became law
if not for Republican senators and congressmen whose overwhelming
support offset extreme Democrat opposition.
Now honesty demands that I admit that I have never been in favor of
affirmative action programs. As a black man I find them demeaning, and
as an American, divisive. But that's an argument for another day.
However, the fact remains that it was President Nixon who implemented
the first affirmative action program with the Philadelphia Plan in the
late 1960s. The plan required government contractors to set goals and
timetables for hiring minorities. Nixon was a Republican.
Sure, some will say that it's all well and good to cite the historical
record, but what about now? What have the Republicans done of late? I
begin by pointing out that Democrats continue to demonstrate a curious
affinity for standing in schoolhouse doors, especially when black
children are involved.
But of late, Democrats are not trying to keep black children out, but
in. In public opinion polls on school choice, blacks overwhelmingly
favor vouchers to rescue their children from failing schools. No one
knows better the damage that poor schools can do to their children's
future and communities than blacks. Republicans are in favor of school
choice. Democrats aren't.
Also in more contemporary times, President Bush appointed two blacks to
the highest positions in government ever occupied by blacks in America.
Today, national security adviser Condoleezza Rice and Secretary of State
Colin Powell are very powerful, influential members of the Bush
administration. Powell, in fact, is fourth in the succession line for
the presidency.
Oh, by the way, do you know who is third in line? Sen. Robert Byrd of
West Virginia. Old "Sheets" himself. The same Byrd of the "white
niggers" comments on March 5, 2001, and who was a member of the KKK. And
Sen. Byrd was not just any old member. No, sir. He was a "grand kleagle"
 a recruiter!
Does anyone remember the late war with Iraq? It lasted about a minute
but you may have had a chance to notice that the vice chief of
operations at Central Command was a brotha Army Brig. Gen. Vincent
Brooks.
And let's not let the "fair and free" press off the hook. Back when Jim
Crow and segregation were "the law of the land" in the South, the press
served as cheerleaders for all those kind, compassionate Democrats as
they lovingly lynched black people by the hundreds on a yearly basis.
Small wonder that the press behaved as badly as it did, though. The
people who ran those papers, which proudly featured the brutalized and
desecrated bodies of black lynching victims on their front pages quite
frequently, were all Democrats.
Today, whenever a Republican says anything that can be twisted by
Democrats and race hustlers to smack the least bit of racism, the press
is quick to pounce on him like Jesse Jackson on a bag of stolen federal
dollars.
The hypocrisy of the press on matters of race is appalling. Just take a
walk into your average newsroom and tell me what you see? Wait, I'll
save you the trip a sea of white faces and sprinkled here and there, a
black face or two. Or better still, tune in to any one of the numerous
weekly Sunday news shows and what you'll find is overwhelming white.
Now here's a homework assignment what political party do you think
most of the members of the press belong to? Here's a hint Democrat.
I need not end here. I could go on all day citing example after example
on this matter (Does the name Bull Connor ring a bell, for instance? A
Democrat. Hah!). But it would be heartening indeed if the next time
accusations of racism are hurled against them, that Republicans would
grow a spine and quickly, thoroughly and when circumstances demand
quite loudly defend their honor, integrity and reputation.

The KKK was the terrorist wing of the Democrat Party.

Our nations top historians reveal that the Democratic Party gave us the
Ku Klux Klan, Black Codes, Jim Crow Laws and other repressive
legislation which resulted in the multitude of murders, lynchings,
mutilations, and intimidations (of thousands of black and white
Republicans). On the issue of slavery: historians say the Democrats gave
their lives to expand it, the Republicans gave their lives to ban it.
The Democrats:
Democrats fought to expand slavery while Republicans fought to end
it.
Democrats passed those discriminatory Black Codes and Jim Crow laws.
Democrats supported and passed the Missouri Compromise to protect
slavery.
Democrats supported and passed the Kansas Nebraska Act to expand
slavery.
Democrats supported and backed the Dred Scott Decision.
Democrats opposed educating blacks and murdered our teachers.
Democrats fought against anti-lynching laws.
Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, is well known for
having been a Kleagle in the Ku Klux Klan.
Democrat Senator Robert Byrd of West Virginia, personally
filibustered the Civil Rights Act of 1964 for 14 straight hours to keep
it from passage.
Democrats passed the Repeal Act of 1894 that overturned civil right
laws enacted by Republicans.
Democrats declared that they would rather vote for a yellow dog
than vote for a Republican, because the Republican Party was known as
the party for blacks.
Democrat President Woodrow Wilson, reintroduced segregation
throughout the federal government immediately upon taking office in
1913.
Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelts first appointment to the
Supreme Court was a life member of the Ku Klux Klan, Sen. Hugo Black,
Democrat of Alabama.
Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelts choice for vice president
in 1944 was Harry Truman, who had joined the Ku Klux Klan in Kansas City
in 1922.
Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt resisted Republican efforts
to pass a federal law against lynching.
Democrat President Franklin D. Roosevelt opposed integration of the
armed forces.
Democrat Senators Sam Ervin, Albert Gore, Sr. and Robert Byrd were
the chief opponents of the 1964 Civil Rights Act.
Democrats supported and backed Judge John Ferguson in the case of
Plessy v Ferguson.
Democrats supported the School Board of Topeka Kansas in the case of
Brown v The Board of Education of Topeka Kansas.
Democrat public safety commissioner Eugene Bull Connor, in
Birmingham, Ala., unleashed vicious dogs and turned fire hoses on black
civil rights demonstrators.
Democrats were who Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. and the other
protesters were fighting.
Democrat Georgia Governor Lester Maddox brandished an ax hammer to
prevent blacks from patronizing his restaurant.
Democrat Governor George Wallace stood in front of the Alabama
schoolhouse in 1963, declaring there would be segregation forever.
Democrat Arkansas Governor Faubus tried to prevent desegregation of
Little Rock public schools.
Democrat Senator John F. Kennedy voted against the 1957 Civil rights
Act.
Democrat President John F. Kennedy opposed the 1963 March on
Washington by Dr. King.
Democrat President John F. Kennedy, had Dr. King wiretapped and
investigated by the FBI.
Democrat President Bill Clintons mentor was U.S. Senator J. William
Fulbright, an Arkansas Democrat and a supporter of racial segregation.
Democrat President Bill Clinton interned for J. William Fulbright in
1966-67.
Democrat Senator J. William Fulbright signed the Southern Manifesto
opposing the Supreme Courts 1954 Brown vs. Board of Education decision.
Democrat Senator J. William Fulbright joined with the Dixiecrats in
filibustering the Civil Rights Acts of 1957 and 1964.
Democrat Senator J. William Fulbright voted against the 1965 Voting
Rights Act.
Southern Democrats opposed desegregation and integration.
Democrats opposed:
The Emancipation Proclamation
The 13th Amendment
The 14th Amendment
The 15th Amendment
The Reconstruction Act of 1867
The Civil Rights of 1866
The Enforcement Act of 1870
The Forced Act of 1871
The Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871
The Civil Rights Act of 1875
The Freeman Bureau
The Civil Rights Act of 1957
The Civil Rights Act of 1960
The United State Civil Rights Commission
Republicans gave strong bi-partisan support and sponsorship for the
following
legislation:
The Civil Rights Act of 1964
The Voting Rights Act of 1965
The 1968 Civil Rights Acts
The Equal Opportunity Act of 1972
Goals and Timetables for Affirmative Action Programs
Comprehensive Employment Training Act of 1973
Voting Rights Act of Amendment of 1982
Civil Rights Act of 1983
Federal Contract Compliance and Workforce Development Act of 1988
The Republicans:
Republicans enacted civil rights laws in the 1950s and 1960s, over
the objection of Democrats.
Republicans founded the HBCUs (Historical Black Colleges and
Universities) and started the NAACP to counter the racist practices of
the Democrats.
Republicans pushed through much of the ground-breaking civil rights
legislation in Congress.
Republicans fought slavery and amended the Constitution to grant
blacks freedom, citizenship and the right to vote.
Republicans pushed through much of the groundbreaking civil rights
legislation from the 1860s through the 1960s.
Republican President Dwight Eisenhower sent troops into the South to
desegregate the schools.
Republican President Eisenhower appointed Chief Justice Earl Warren
to the Supreme Court, which resulted in the 1954 Brown vs. Board of
Education decision.
Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois, not Democrat
President Lyndon Johnson, was the one who pushed through the civil
rights laws of the 1960s.
Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois wrote the language
for the 1965 Voting Rights Act.
Republican Senator Everett Dirksen from Illinois also crafted the
language for the Civil Rights Act of 1968 which prohibited
discrimination in housing.
Republican and black American, A. Phillip Randolph, organized the
1963 March by Dr. King on Washington.
The 1964 Civil Rights Act Roll Call Vote: In the House, only 64 percent
of the Democrats (153 yes, 91 no), but 80 percent of the Republicans
(136 yes, 35 no), voted for it. In the Senate, while only 68 percent of
the Democrats endorsed the bill (46 yes, 21 no), 82 percent of the
Republicans voted to enact it (27 yes, 6 no).
Thaddeus Stevens, a Radical Republican that introduced legislation to
give African Americans the so-called 40 acres and a mule and Democrats
overwhelmingly voted against the bill.
During the Senate debates on the Ku Klux Klan Act of 1871, it was
revealed that members of the Democratic Party formed many terrorist
organizations like the Ku Klux Klan to murder and intimidate African
Americans voters. The Ku Klux Klan Act was a bill introduced by a
Republican Congress to stop Klan Activities.
History reveals that Democrats lynched, burned, mutilated and murdered
thousands of blacks and completely destroyed entire towns and
communities occupied by middle class Blacks, including Rosewood,
Florida, the Greenwood District in Tulsa Oklahoma, and Wilmington, North
Carolina to name a few.
History reveals that it was Abolitionists and Radical Republicans such
as Henry L. Morehouse and General Oliver Howard that started many of the
traditional Black colleges, while Democrats fought to keep them closed.
Many of our traditional Black colleges are named after white
Republicans.
After exclusively giving the Democrats their votes for the past 25
years, the average African American cannot point to one piece of civil
rights legislation sponsored solely by the Democratic Party that was
specifically designed to eradicate the unique problems that African
Americans face today.
As of 2004, the Democrat Party (the oldest political party in America)
has never elected a black man to the United States Senate, the
Republicans have elected three.

Attention Congressional & Community Leaders:
I thought it would only be fitting and proper to provide an explanation
as to what brought about the Reparations lawsuit against the Democratic
Party. Before I share with you the chain of events that led to the
lawsuit, I thought that perhaps I should give you a brief background on
myself and my past political affiliation.
I am the author of several books, a former radio talk show host, a
former newspaper publisher, a corporate consultant, a community activist
and an inner-city minister located in Seattle Washington. In addition to
working with gang members and professional athletes, I spend my leisure
time doing research. In 1993, based on personal research, I challenged
major Christian Publishers and scholars that continued to produce
publications promoting the Curse of Ham theory (a theory that justified
slavery from a Christian perspective). My efforts resulted in a public
apology and the removal of the 400 year old curse theory from all of
their publications including removing it from the Encyclopedia
Britannica. My book: The 1993 Trial On The Curse of Ham was based on
that research.
Most of my adult life I have voted for, and worked with a number of
Democratic candidates at the local level. In 1996, I served as a member
of the Washington State Black Clergy to Re-elect President Bill Clinton
and worked closely with the co-chair. After President Clinton was
re-elected, I was challenged by a group of young people from our church
regarding the history of the Democratic Party and their relationship
with blacks. Their challenge prompted me to devote a considerable amount
of time researching the subject.
My research included reviewing Congressional Records from 1860 to
present, reading the works of several renowned history professors (both
black and white) and looking at the Democratic Platform from the early
1800s to 1954. In addition to these documents I reviewed the research
of those who produced the books: Without Sanctuary, 100 Years of
Lynchings and added to my library PBS and the History Channels series
on The Rise and Fall of Jim Crow and Reconstruction: The Second Civil
War. Excerpts from those books and film documentaries were included as
exhibits in my Reparations lawsuit against the Democratic Party.
The graphic depictions of whites fighting over the private parts of
black men (penises, fingers, ears) after hanging them and igniting them
with kerosene, is forever embedded in my mind. I can still hear the
cries of the victims wives and children pleading and begging for the
lives of their loved ones while Democratic national and local elected
officials joined the crowd and cheered. The lynching of Mary Turner, the
nine-month pregnant mother was even more horrific and graphic. All of
these events took place under the banner of States Rights in regions
controlled by Democratic governors, mayors, judges, sheriffs,
Congressmen and U.S. Senators. Like Dr King, my parents lived through
those times in Atlanta and I never fully appreciated what they and other
blacks went through until I had completed my research.
In addition to lynchings and terrorist attacks by the Democrats
terrorist organizations (as revealed in the 1871 Senate hearings),
Democrats legislated Black Codes, Jim Crow laws and a multitude of other
repressive legislation at the federal and state levels (and repealed
other key pieces of Civil Rights legislation) all in an effort to deny
blacks their rights as citizens. The entire system of racism in America
was meticulously thought-out and carried-out by a powerful political
machine. And that political machine according to historians, was the
Democratic Party - the party of White Supremacy.
Based on these findings, I wrote my latest book: Unfounded Loyalty, and
sent a letter to the DNC requesting that they issue an apology to
African Americans. In 2005, I sent a second letter to the DNC, again
requesting an apology (see attached). When the DNC ignored the first
request, I filed my first lawsuit on December 10, 2004. Prior to my
letters, members of the Congressional Black Caucus sent former
Congressman JC Watts the letter below (on January 28, 1999). In that
letter the Caucus told Mr. Watts and his Republican counterparts
to:Clearly and publicly distance themselves from the CCC and any other
white supremacist, anti-semitic or hate groups. In my letter to the
DNC, I expressed similar sentiments. I told the DNC An apology is one
of the only ways modern-day Democrats can distance themselves from the
partys racist past while bringing some closure to the African American
Community. Instead of apologizing, Howard Dean hired one of the most
powerful law-firms in the country, to defend the partys racist past.
Without an apology and repentance there is no way the Democratic Party
can ever sincerely honor Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. and Ms Rosa Parks;
two individuals who literally gave their lives to destroy the racist
programs, policies and practices that were established by the Democratic
Party. And without an apology and repentance there is no way the
Democratic Party can ever respect African Americans. Their past programs
and practices from slavery through Jim Crow which literally destroyed
the lives of millions of blacks, was an act of mass murder. And to hire
an attorney to defend that racist past is not only an official
endorsement of murder - it is an insult to the entire black race and to
those whites who gave their lives to eliminate racial injustice. .
I look forward to your response.
Sincerely
Rev. Wayne Perryman

Odd that those of us on the Right would rather teach a man to fish, so

Rather pathetic how your side does that...isnt it?

You can't. First, I'm not very fond of CA. Too many poseurs and
phonies and loons, if ya know what I mean. <g> Second, I'm not
qualified to offer the psychiatric care you need. Surely, you have
some sort of low-income metal heath service available in your area?

FYI, always keep the fuel tank filled up. Condensation, ya know,
especially important if your hoe is a diesel.

While you're waiting, try to come up with a plausible excuse for not
being eligible for care at the VA, okay?

More than likely you will be dead in less than 2 yrs.
No sweat off my ass over that. Not at all.

And?
So when you told your psychiatrist you like posting Usenet messages to
yourself, which medications did she prescribe?
Don't worry. Under Obama's medical care plan, you should be able to afford
psychiatric meds.
