Raden Sarief Bastaman Saleh (1807-1880), The Romantic Aristocrat.
Raden Saleh, born into a noble Javanese family in 1807, became a
pioneer of modern Indonesian art. Although he was the first Indonesian
artist painting in the Western style, the fact that he expressed
individuality and creativity in his work (as opposed to the traditional
approach which stressed the reproduction of established forms and
styles) showed the way for future Indonesian artists to express their
own ideas more freely...

Affandi (1907-1990) is an artist of known as Artistic Oil Painting

of Für Elise. He is viewed as one of the biggest composer and
representative important figure in a period of switchover Classic Epoch
and Romantic Epoch. During is young, he is marked pianist, popular with
rich and important people in Wina, Austrian...
Ir. Soekarno (6 June 1901 - 21 June 1970) is first President of
Indonesia, taking hold of period 1945 - 1966. Proclamation Independence
of Indonesia at August 17th on 1945 together Mohammad Hatta. After
publishing of SUPERSEMAR, he replaced by General Soeharto. Soekarno
borne by the name of Kusnososro Soekarno. His Father is Raden Sukemi, a
teacher in Surabaya, East Java. Its Mother comes from Bali. Young
Soekarno remain with his grandfather in Tulungagung, East Java. At age
14 year, a father friend Tjokroaminoto invite Soekarno live in Surabaya
and sent to school to Hooger Burger School ( H.B.S.)
