The Creation story in Genesis is a 9 day transformation process, not
unlike making bread. The preachers who claim that it is a 7 day
process are ignorant of their own canon.

Numerologically, the nine positions between the unit 1 (using the
Arabic symbols) and 9 represent the structure of transformation, to
wit:

1 is the number of Purpose, the Idea. This number is generally
associated with The Sun and represents Divine Mind, the great I AM. In
the case of making bread, it is the IDEA of a loaf of bread.

2 is the number of The Moral. This number is generally associated
with The Moon, as it reflects the illumination of Divine Mind. In the
case of making bread, it is the DIVINE IMPUlSE for a loaf of bread as
it arises in the Imagination, which is an aspect of The Moral.

• All the numbers have planetary analogues, but they tend to be too
esoteric for the purposes of the numerology of the Bible. Astrology
does not contribute to the fabric of the literature of the Bible as a
figure of speech in the way number does except as it describes the
relationship between the great I AM and Imagination.

3 is the number of Metaphysics, which is to say, artifacts of Divine
Mind as they exist in Imagination. The Triangle is generally
associated with this number and introduces geometric design as a
feature of transformation. In the case of making bread, this number
symbolizes the recipe, or design, of the bread.

• 3 is classically identified with literature and self expression.

• The numbers 1, 2 & 3 are generally associated with the Mental. On
the Mogan David, these numbers are generally associated with the upper
triangle.

4 is the number of The Material, that is, all the elements of the
physical world. The Square is the geometric figure and reflects the
phrase “fore square to the earth”. The number 4 is the first non-prime
number. In the making of bread, it is all the ingredients, the flour,
the eggs, the water, the yeast, etc.

5 is the number of Architecture and Structure. The Pentagon is one
symbol, but the five-sided star, or Pentagram, is generally employed.
This is not an allusion to a planetary body, but to the interior line,
or economy of design. In the making of bread, it is the structure of
the dough that obtains from the recipe.

6 is the number of Dynamics not only of the process, but also of the
Architecture. For example, the kneading of the dough is important to
establish the Architecture and to introduce the effects of the yeast.

• In 7 base and 8 base numerology, there is no geometric symbol for 6,
while the Mogan David, or Star of David, is the symbol of 9 base
numerology.
• In 7 base and 8 base numerology, the gestalt of 3, 4 and 5 creates
the symbol for 6. For example, if you place a smoky candle at each
point of the Pentagram and slowly revolve the figure so that the
columns of smoke rise like ribbons around a May Pole, the resulting
columns create a single figure of smoke which symbolizes 6.
• 6 is associated with harmonics and the laws of probability. For
example, 33 is the number of the martyr: both Jesus and Mohammed Atta
were 33 at their crises and the tradition is that the soldier who won
Jesus’ cloak rolled a 6.
• The Mogan David abstracts these dynamics with two triangles
intertwined, one point towards heaven and one point towards earth and
alludes to Jacob’s Ladder.

6 is the end of Phase One of the transformation process. Everything
that can be done by human intervention has been done.

• The numbers 4, 5 & 6 are generally associated with The Material. On
the Mogan David, these numbers are generally associated with the lower
triangle.
• With the Pentagram, place 1 at the point at the top of the star, 2
at the lower left hand point, 3 at the upper right hand point, 4 at
the upper left hand point, 5 at the lower right hand point and you
have the process of the Tree of Life of the Kabala.
• With the Mogan David, place 1 at the upper point of the upper
triangle, 2 at the left hand point of that triangle and 3 at the right
hand point of that triangle; place 4 at the lower point of the lower
triangle, 5 at either point on that triangle and 6 at the other point
of that triangle. This illustrates the relationship of these numbers
to each other

7 is a liminal position. It has no weight, per se. Its geometric
symbol is a square surmounted by a triangle, literally like a doorway.
The mirrored portal in the Star Gate series is a useful image: it is a
moment of transition within which there is no lingering. You are on
one side one moment and on the other the next. It is a boundary line
in a progressive phase. This is the moment when the dough has been
kneaded sufficiently and it is left to rise.

In 7 base and 8 base numerology, this is the moment when narcissism is
a practical possibility. It’s the moment when the individual may have
acquired the outward appearances of a certain outcome, but has not
acquired the internal structures requires of that outcome. It’s like
an actor who dresses up as a warrior and forgets that he is merely a
player when he sees his image in a mirror. On the other hand, the
dancer at the barre employs the mirror to pass through this liminal
moment to transcend the limits of her mortal coil and, when she is
dancing, she moves through this portal and enters the realm of the
number 8.

8 has several meanings: the Executive and The Many Mansions of the
House of the Father. In the case of numerology as a transformation
process, 8 is the Many Mansions. When you are finished kneading the
dough, it passes through the 7 portal and rests in one of the Mansions
as it rises. And in the fullness of time, the dough is moved to a
second Mansion of the oven to be baked. The Cube is the geometric
figure. In Genesis, it is the Garden of Eden, which is the test tube
for humanity.

9 is a second liminal number. It is the end. The Universe is its
symbol. The number nine contains all things and all things are
contained within it. The Egyptians considered it divine. When
everything has been done to the bread but the cooling, the number 9 is
what ends the baking. When Adam and Eve left Eden, they exited through
Gate 9. Like the number 7, there is no going back.

• The numbers 7, 8 and 9 are generally associated with The Spiritual.

The Creation stories in Genesis are an examples of a two phase
transformation process that follows a figurative recipe which burps
out humanity at its completion. In terms of the human condition, the
apple of the Tree of Knowledge represents the yeast of Free Will. As a
practical matter, the path leading to Gate 9 in the Garden of Eden is
a process of self actualization that begins with potty training. The
doctrine of original sin is the moral equivalent of learning to wipe
your ass after a bowel movement.

And that’s the truth.
