Sounds true enough to me. I was visiting a city last month and
photographed a federale building, and was stopped by two rent-a-pigs who
ordered me to erase my memory card.
They told me I was trespassing on federal property, to which I replied
that I was on a PUBLIC sidewalk maintained by the local city government.
Then they said it was illegal to photograph federal buildings, to which I
replied that the building was in a public place and in plain view, and
besides its surveillance cameras were photographing ME. Then I asked the
two pigs what federal statute I was violating, and they seemed
dumbfounded before one answered "Section 19" (of what?).
There are countless cases of pigs harassing, even beating or killing,
citizens who record their abuse. I was lucky enough that I was in public
during the middle of the day, with enough private surveillance cameras
watching me that I couldn't be easily "disappeared" by Chairman Obama's
Stasi goons.
