might be interested in tinkering with this bio of my friend, the reat
poet Seaborn Jones:

Seaborn Jones, born in 1942 is an American poet, a native of Macon,
Georgia. Jones has been published in the New York Quarterly, Southern
Poetry Review, River Styx, Chattahoochee Review, Bogg, Poetry New
Zealand, Pearl, Rockhurst Review, Studio One [disambiguation needed],
Wilshire Review, Louisiana Review and numerous other journals
including translations of his work for European publications. His
poems have been anthologized in 80 on the 80s (Ashland University
Press), Scorched Hands (Pariah Press), Chester H. Jones Foundation,
National Poetry Contest Winners, 1993, and in Java Monkey Speaks
Anthology 3 in 2008. He has received three International Merit Awards
from Atlanta Review. He is the author of five books, Drowning from the
Inside Out (C.V. Editions, Cherry Valley, New York), Lost Keys (Snake
Nation Press, Valdosta, Georgia), Getaway Car in Reverse (Steam Iron
Press), Black Champagne (Middle Georgia College), and X-Ray Movies
(MAS) which received the Georgia Author of the Year Award in Poetry.
He has been the recipient of the Violet Reed Haas Poetry Prize and was
selected as the 1991 Alan Collins Scholar in Poetry at the Bread Loaf
Writers' Conference. Jones continues to speak and read extensively
throughout the United States.

Yeah, I did what I could. Main thing, I split it up into different
sections, I found a second source on line (the PoetryNet blurb), and I
cited everything (so I removed the unsourced tag). I was glad to see
only that tag, BTW; it meant the page had been reviewed, and there
weren't problems with the notability guidelines. I can't do a thing
about the stub tag, though; there's just no other information I can
see to add.

Thanks, yes, actual bioraphical information remains a bit slim.

I found a third bio on line, from ''Opium'' magazine. Most of it was
CV stuff, like we have, but dated; but it did have the info that Jones
is an ex-Marine. So I put that in.

Great. The big problem will be with citing everything. the sources
don't have to be internet accessible, but it helps. Wiki is especially
sensitive when it comes to bios of living persons; I suppose there's
been libellous stuff posted there before. (Well, I'm sure there has; I
notice ~PJ Ross~ was an editor at one time.) If an uncited statement
about a living person is challenged, a wiki admin will delete it
without question.

Ah, here's some good news, which you can find in the article. Seaborn
won another poetry prize in 2010 -- this one is good for a book and a
$500 advance on royalties -- so he'll have a new book of poetry coming
out this year.

Surrealism, too, according to the judges' citation. I hope we won't
see any hilarious guillotines or anything like that. 8)
