perhaps the rover now on mars discovering streams of water and theories of a once thriving martian planet that had it's atmosphere stripped away by solar wind may be ignoring dimensions of size on the planet when seeking sentient life. notwithstanding the prospects of antithetical microbiotic life on mars that could harm martian colonizers as well as help with support travel to the planet, perhaps also the small trickles of water on the planet could indicate smaller dimensions of sentient life, the so-called prospect of "Giants on Jupiter, Smurfs on Mars" prospect that eliminates the dimensions of mankind for the sake of making the error of postulating it as an a priori dimension, similar to the error of the church and ostracism of galileo for refusing to acknowledge the earth as the center of the universe. basically, apart from the prospect of life-threatening microbiotic matter on mars that could endanger colonizers, perhaps sentient life on this planet as others could ignore the postulation of humanity as the a priori dimension of size.
