Hey guys and gals,
Kinda OT but not really sure where else to ask. I've been using my PS3
to watch American Netflix (I live in Canada) for a few months. Lately,
the DNS servers I've been using seem to no longer work. I've tried many
different ones. I finally gave up and installed squid on my Fedora 19
box as well as a VPN service. I re-directed my PS3 through the squid
proxy server and checked to ensure that my ip address as seen from the
PS3 is a US ip. All seems to be as it should be until I start Netflix.
For some reason it still shows me Canadian Netflix (pure shite btw). If
I run netflix directly from a desktop running the VPN it works fine.
The only thing I can think of is there must be some setting in
squid.conf that I'm missing. Anyone got any ideas?
