But what is the true meaning of the Universe beyond the average or the
mean?

In linguistics, the term grammatical number refers to ways of
expressing quantity by inflecting words. In the English sentences
below, the number of apples is indicated in several different ways:

the referent in the real world. In the English language, singular and
plural are the only grammatical numbers. In English, nouns, pronouns,
and demonstratives inflect for plurality.
