The main 'truths' are in the pragmatic behavioral
and neurological effects.

If one sees that the physiology either 'supports' the paranormal
experiences, or causes them cannot ever be proven.This is where the
rules of epistomology fall down.

Try the self qualia, called in folk talk 'feelings'. Your "hormones"
is more folk talk. "Hormones" are part of brain structure and process,
but a limited part. You have your own stories, that you have well practiced,
plus you are very verbose, a form of story practice. Of course I am
similar, but my stories come out of a proven engineering background.
Eventually engineers must build synthetic intelligence that will top
human intelligence, including both self and sensor qualia.

What "does" an engineering background prove? The vision comes first,

What's to get away from? Must be a struggle if you identify self as a
conglomoration of energized cells.Even ones' stories are "attributes"
of self, but not self.
