Spirituality is about discovering and developing your 'authentic
self'. If empirical proof was presented for 'after life', would that
change your views and attitudes this life ?

If it did,it would be as a result of your becoming a believer in such
evidence.

Spirituality and beliefs are incongruous.

And the point of your response?

To point out in a rude way (because I am PA, you would hate it if I
suddenly became nice) that your "Spirituality and beliefs are
incongruous." does not follow from your previous.

What would my 'non-authentic self' consists of?

A creature that fails to see the wisdom and beauty in the giant-straw
user's utterances, and tries to reduce them to mere `English'.

There's an amazingly large amount of you about.

Is there anyone that could translate Terrys' post into 21st century
English? Many thanks!

I''ll eschew `21st century', my words are not for sale. In simple
terms [for you], Fletch thinks he's a guru with `higher wisdom', and
failure in his logic are failures of the language, not his wisdom.
`Fletch' itself you can google.
Take a bucket.

A very good question. What is the source of your
disappointments,frustrations,anxieties and fear?

"You" think that Fletch thinks that. Im Fletch, and I do not think
that...Authentic enough for you or will you rely on your eschewing?

Another clue, Olrik. He arrogantly demonstrates the very thing he is
accusing me of, by using such terms as [for you].

Let's see...

By a priori reasoning a 'after life' must come after life which is
usually termed death, so all life is a 'before death' experience.

Eradicating death as an false idea, life also would have to follow.
However if we turn to a updated version of the Cartesian principle which
states: "I think I am thinking, therefore I think I think, I think"
we can clearly see with no need for either spirituality or belief some
people are mostly dead already. OTHO, given: "I am thinking about a
steak, therefore I will fix one and this will do until reality shows up"
we easily see empirical evidence of the after life of cows.
