Drawing the line. Art ?

Normally the question is asked, "is this art?"

Actually, any work of creation is art. The more important question must be
asked, "what kind of art is it, good or bad, or better ?"

Art is all about "drawing lines," but more importantly drawing the line
between the abstract art and the concrete art.

Some "artists" create in the abstract, be it a painting , sculpture of the
like and others create by creating "real life." This perhaps is the
greatest form of "artistic" creation.

While it is said that in the beginning God created "mankind" in his image,
let us learn that it is "motherhood" that is the imge of God creating
mankind. This is the greatest form of art.

Art is somthing totally subjective. It is completly asthetic. Art is
somthing that you would be proud to put on your wall or other display.
There is no better art that that is more of a ballance of realism and
abstraction. Art is subject to the same market forces as everything
else. The art has a value to its creator. Many artists work in abject
poverty becaue that is the value of thier art to them.

There is no good or bad art only how we percieve and our willingness to
create it or pay for it.
