An oddity these days is that the more some people claim Obama is the
anti-christ (and demonize him), so much the more do others (it seems)
see him as a hero, virtually a messiah, lion of the tribe of Judah, or
some white knight out of Joel 2 (or Revelations).

The liberals back in Reagan's day tried to predict that his reign
would be a catastrophe, the end of the world. No such thing happened,
and for some reason, the more they demonized him, so much the more did
his popularity hold steady. In fact, sometimes the attacks
backfired. They grumbled he was like TEFLON. No matter what they
threw at him, it didn't stick.

Obama seems like another Reagan. He is like Teflon. No matter what
the scandal-mongers throw at him, for some reason his popularity holds
steady, even inches a bit higher.

Even when his broad public is leery of his programs, his personal
popularity remains extraordinarily high.

(But don't expect unfailing success. The House Demo's are VERY
liberal. There are sure to be bumps in the road.)
