I am trying to locate the name of the artist who did the artwork for the
1959 Hawaii Statehood commemorative. He lived in Chicago, worked from
at least the 30's through at least 1959. His name was Joseph or Jusef
Fehler or Feheler. He did an oil portrait of my mother in 1936, the
signature is not legible. The only other fact I have about him is that
he did the art for the stamp I've mentioned.

I've tried various search engines without success. Due to work schedule
I can't easily get to the library to search philatelic publications.
Does anyone know this artist's correct name, or know of a web site
(artistic or philatelic) that might have information on him?
