July 2, 1999 New Caledonia . Mnh .Sheet of 5 stamps commemorating the 140th
Anniversary of the first postage stamp of the country. Napoleon III is the
subject of the stamps, each expressing a different printing technique:
taille douce, thermogravure, offset, embossed gold and holographic. Notice
the beautiful hologram!
Unveiled at PhilexFrance `99 Stamp Exhibition.
