Old stamps found

I have recently come across some old stamps in an envelope whilst clearing
out the garage. My days of stamp collecting are a good 20 or so years
behind me and I am sure I kept these ones for a reason but cant remember
why.
Anyway I would appreciate any clues to their age / value before I stuff them
in an envelope for another 20 years..! Descriptions follow
1 x Cyprus. Blue with a picture of Kolossi Castle on the front and a
picture of a Royal in the top rhc. The value is 4 "plasgres(?)" The second
letter is obscured by the remnants of a postmark. On the back in neat
writing are the words (Christmas 1954)
1 x Suid Afrika. Green with a picture of a covered wagon on it. Value is
5/- and the word POSSEEL on the bottom.
1 x Siud Afrika. Blue with a picture of 2 horned animals on the front
(bison I think). Value 1/- and the word POSEEL on the bottom. This one has
a postmark with JOHANNES visible and the date -1OCT 36 visible
4 x Suid Afrika. Blue. I kept these because they were still joined by
their perforations and although they have the same picture on them, what
looks like an old colonial house, two of them have the word POSSEEL and two
have the word POSTAGE on them. They have a postmark covering all 4 in the
centre with JOHANESS clearly visible and there is a date visible but I cant
make it out. Someone with UV lighting or specialist kit could.
1 x New Zealand. Red with a picture of a lady standing.it has the words
UNIVERSAL POSTAGE and a value of one penny. A quarter postmark is visible
with the letters NZ and what looks like a T followed by a / then the letters
MARU.
Any help in identifying the potential value would be appreciated. I have
recently acquired a scanner but am reluctant to post a binary here plus I
dont know if it would damage the stamps colors to subject them to that sort
of light intensity.
