Nokia sim clock stop code?

...was wondering about this code, star hash 746***625 hash,
when punched in it brings up "sim clock stop allowed" on the screen.
I`ve been told that it gets you some free minutes, can anyone shed any light
on this please?

whole life :0) yes thats right nokia have supplied there phones with an
obvious code which allows u to steal from any sp in the world. not
forgetting nokia are an sp in finland. i though ppl in this group had more
sense. this is the MOST mentioned thing in every mobile group. but as this
is not really a mobile group i will explain exactly what *#sim0clock# is and
does. It is very simply a power saving feature. not even that really. back
in the days of new kidz on the block etc sim cards used to have to keep time
them selves this was very power consuming. it brought the standbuy time of
the phone right down. but these days this feature is not needed. if your sim
card will let the phone turn this feature off which it should if it was made
after 1997 it will automaticly do so when the phone is turned on. the code
simply tells you weather the phone has done this. jesus christ this is
turning out to be worse than 90#. Oh yeah and if you put *#06# into any
phone it will give you the prime ministers mobile number :0) have a phun
life
