Ah you got that E-mail too then?
I've got a demo one from a few years back, it was limited to 15 results, but
if you make the search more accurate, e.g: add the county, and yer laughing,
I might get it 'cause it's more up to date than the one I've got..

It seems like the only limitation is that it stops being the 'Pro' version
and reverts to the 'SE' version after a week (or is it two??).
But surely having the physical CD allows you to reinstall it after the seven
days and start again??
I'm sure someone will know why this can't be done.

It's from 192.com (Return-Path: mail...@192.com) , I've got about 6 of em,
cos er, i've got 6 E-mail
addresses, and lots of free searches :)

I'm gonna try that, but I thought someone would've tried before and found it
couldn't be done.
Cheers,

you could try Norton's Ghost[0] before you install it, so when it runs
out you just re-ghost[1] and your disk[2] is back to how it was
before.[3]
or you could save your registery and do a compare before and after
installation, and again after unstalling, to see if they hide 'stuff' in
the reg.
and there are programs that show you what programs are accessing the
reg, and where they are trying to access, thus showing what keys they
are looking for, which may allow you to change them.[4]
[0] personally, i'd rather stick pins in my eyes than use anything
norton, but several people, who all know stuff about computers, say it
is quite good. (the only bit of norton they'd let on their machines.
(other than norton commander, which was nice.)
[1]what is the verb for restoring your disk using ghost?
[2]disc or disk when talking about winchesters?
[3]this is a bit extreme, because you wont be able to install anything,
or save any documents, or make any changes to your pooter, which is
prolly a bit far to go to get past a time limit. maybe if you had a
separate box, with NIC, you could install all ghost, all your time
limited demos, and save your output over the network.
[4]i cant remember the names of any of these, or even where i saw them,
but it has been mentioned in phuk before, so a googlegroups search might
pick someting up.
I never sign up with it.Spam again

This sounds like what I was looking for.....
Cheers,

Just got it, surely somone will have a crack released for it, if there is
not one already :)
Chris
I installed it last week and even registered it. I reset the date this
morning and did a check. Everything was fine - even though when I checked my
Email, there was a notice telling me that the Pro part had expired and would
I like to buy the upgrade!
Have a look in abwuk just now :)

there's no need to crack this version. if you go to
http://ukinfodisk.webhop.org (username: ukinfodisk / password:
ukinfodisk) you can generate valid site keys for all uk info disk
products from v2.x to v6.5 (which is the version included on pc
format). If you want a personal account, then e-mail th...@hotmail.com
with your name.

its just a case of the value of your time compared to the value of the
product. (oh and how long you live)

er why not?
btw ure haiku is broken heh.
Uncrackable? I got a full version of UK Info Disk 4.1 which must be
registered to make it the pro version. Uncrackable? No, it took me about 1
hour to crack. It had the uncrackable Crypkey. I didn't bother cracking
the Crypkey, I just cracked ukid.exe directly, and it was a piece of cake.
When I get 2 systems up and running again, I'll crack this one too. Thank
you UKInfo, for a great product.
