The Response
Hi,
Those keys are not recorded. You are the first person
that has ever noticed.
Does this create a problem for you?
Please advise.

Hi thanks for the prompt reply.
In a nutshell, Yes.
I noticed the lack of these keystrokes with a few of my
passwords, and so if any of my kids \ collegues use any
of these keys in their passwords it will defeat some of
the purpose of the device. I also noticed that there is
not a space to indicate the missing keystrokes, IE. r\t
would show rt not r t so I would not know that anything
is missing until the access failed.

The Final Response
Hi,
Those keys are hardly ever used, and used even less in
passwords. I am sure that you will not have any issues.

RR : "I've found a problem with your logger"
KK : "It's OK, nobody would ever come across that problem!"
LOL :^) I really can't understand why it doesn't log those
chars though, I've seen crappy VB ones that log everything,
including one particularly bad one that doesn't actually
hide it's window but uses the leet social engineering tekniq
of having "please minimise this window" written on it ;^)
Admittedly those chars are control ones that you could see
needing special handling in a hacked up perl script or
suchlike, but for a commercial logger (vxd?) it's inexcusable.
Bob
which shift key are you using for the pipe |, or is that the
(alt gr) pipe ª ?
and which apostraphe is that, the ' or the ` ?
because if its that top left key, I agree with the bloke, I never
use that key.
iirc the device captures keyboard scan codes. I'm not sure why it
doesn't get \, but that other key isn't part of a 102 key keyboard.
(i think, anyway.)
does your device capture ¼ part as well as not the ` or the ª?
on a password theme I found out that the only reason all
our sage line 100 passwords are uppercase is because the
woman who creates the user account has her caps-lock on.
The only reason she has her caps lock on is because you have
to enter the passwords (when you log in) in uppercase.
