Would a skunk trap work on a bunny?

Hi folks;

Please forgive the cross-posting but I really would like an answer to this
problem and you seem like the right folks to ask for help. I called the
County of Thorhild about live-trapping the escaped bunny here in Radway but
the animal control guy only has skunk traps. Would that catch a bunny? I
would suspect the cage wouldn't work because there's only one entrance.
Though rabbits get curious, they are reluctant to go into places with only
one door. Of course that doesn't apply to kitchen cupboards left open by
humans.

Would the slight smell of skunk spray, assuming there's a residue left, also
scare away a bunny? I sure would appreciate advice from any rescuers out
there.

Prayers and good wishes wouldn't go to waste either. The weather is mild
here at the moment but cold weather could hit and that bunny would be out
there in the cold. Coyotes also rome around, and sometimes in, the town.
Then there's the dogs which some lazy owners let loose. The rabbit seems to
be doing well, according to one lady I spoke to, but we know how they
cunningly hide weaknesses.

Sincerely,

Bruce.
