Cardboard tubes as toys.

Greetings;

Have any of you folks used toilet paper tubes or the ones from paper towels
as toys for hamsters or mice? When I had hamsters, I let them play in the
bath tub while I changed their cages. They absolutely loved the toilet
paper tubes. It was fun watching them run through them, peer over the top
of them, and nibble their ends. Too bad I didn't have a video camera back
them or I would have caught those cute antics. I have no intensions of
adopting hamsters but if I do, I'll be sure to give them the toilet paper
and paper towel tubes.
