Hi folks;

Do your bunnies let the end of a hay strand tap against something when they
eat? Mark has the peculiar habit of letting the end of a strand of hay tap
against his food dish, water bowl, pen bars, or litter box when he eats.
It's caused me to go into his room, which used to be MY living room, to find
out where the noise came from. He's the only bunny I've had who does that.
I'd be interested in hearing about anybody else's hay-tapping rabbit.

Sincerely,

Bruce Atchison - author of When a Man Loves a Rabbit and Deliverance from
Jericho. Both books are available from the www.bruceatchison.blogspot.com

I give my 2 bunnies hay blocks and I've never seen them tap a piece of
hay against anything. I've seen them try to take a piece of hay out of
the other bun's mouth and there's hay lying on the floor right in from
of them. It makes you wonder why that piece of hay is any better than
the piece of hay that's on the floor from the same hay block. LOL !

Very interesting, Bruce. He must be musical. Maybe you should get him
a drum set.

Hay always tastes better when it comes from the other rabbit.

Thanks, Nona. He certainly would be a hit with the avante gard crowd. I can
see him now in some university as an art and music installation, surrounded
by an admiring crowd of atonal music officionados.
