For me, the cutest thing Sproing does is take a bit of parsley,
beginning at the fluffy end and eat down to the stalk. The last part of
the stalk goes in the way we would suck in a single peice of spagetti,
only he's munching all the way.

With Arwen it has to be how she carefully inspects her pile of veggies
to find just the right one, nuding them around, and then does a pig out
munch down as if she's dying of starvation.

I love it when Jager drinks "upside down" basically turning his head to
where he looks like he's on his back to drink from his water bottle. he's
done this since he was just a baby! I think it was because where we got him
at had the water bottle too low. we've tried to break him of this habit but
he just won't! =)

Midnight attempts to eat while laying down... you see the food dissappearing
into his mouth as he lays in reclining position like a king.

Well, The Princess is a piglet, so the cutest thing she does is eat raisins
from between our lips. Despite being crazed for them, she is very gentle.

Another cute thing is when she eats from Baby Servant's hand - it drives him
mad, though. He HATES it when she does that (and that makes us laugh, cruel
parents that we are!).

I love the way the little mouth chews from side to side and the way
Tuffy rearanges all the vegies in the bowl just to see if this is the
day he gets a carrot. Janice

Cocoa- When i give her her pile of veggies, she sniffs around, takes the
"best" on and high tails it (grin) to the back of her cage to eat it. THIS
IS MINE AND YOU AIN'T GONNA TAKE IT!

when dazey eats parsley, he starts at the stalk and works his way down
to the fluffy end. when he gets to the start of the "fluff," he looks
like a wood chipping/mulching machine... everything compresses and
disappears. i like that, and when he stuffs his nose under all his
pellets to see if anything better is at the bottom. he closes his eyes
and the pellets come up over them. its a trip.

i like it when jax drinks. he dips his entire chin in the water bowl,
so his whole chest gets wet. he then shakes his head and sprays the
room. very cute.

Jack plants both front paws firmly in his food bowl while he eats. It's
*his* bowl, he doesn't have to share it, yet he makes sure it doesn't move.
I thought this might have something to do with fighting for food before I
got him, but both his son and daughter plant their whole butts in the food
dish and eat around themselves. Needless to say, they have to have their
food changed all the time...they have a litter box, but they sleep in
that...they have food dishes, but they poop in those...and they have a bed,
but they play in that. Sigh.

At night, when I put Merlin and Jump in their home for the
evening, they get their quarter cup of pellets between
them. Jump takes the small diameter bowl because when he
sticks his head in it, Merlin can't get in sideways. Merlin
gets the large bowl and he promptly grabs the bowl by the
edge and pulls it up onto the plate that's underneath their
water bottle (it's a large square tile plate). It doesn't
matter where I put Merlin's bowl. He pulls it to "the spot"
to eat. If I move it while he's eating, that really gets
his HARE up. He pulls the bowl back to the spot and picks
it up and bangs it on the plate to tell me "here, dammit, it
goes here". The thing weighs about a half pound and I
seriously doubt that I could pick it up with my teeth. He
has NO problem. In the morning, I find the bowl
upside-down. He wants every pellet and turns the bowl over
when it's empty.

Poofie some how gets all the green juices ( i can't remember the technical part
of the plant) out of the veggies all over her chin and carpet. and JUST like
grass stains, these juices DON"T come out of carpet NOR poofie very easily!

She's the only one that makes crumbs with carrots too...hmmmm

I love it when they come running into the kitchen when I am chopping the
fruit for "dessert," hoping for a preview bite.

BTW, on the parsley eating--yeah, mine eat the fluffy end first, too.
But not with carrot fronds! With those they often munch stem first, and
then leaves.

Yeah, juicy fruits like grapes, oranges, watermelon or grapefruit...I love
when he shlurps these up and licks and licks, and then washes his face.

I also like the funny look he gets on his face when he is eating
cecals...sort of the Mona Lisa...either a grimace or a contented
smile...LOL!

Same here, parsley is eaten from the leaves. Carrot tops are eaten from the
stalks.

One time when he was a baby he actually managed to stuff so much into his
mouth that he started to choke, I had to pull it all out. scary!!

Chloe eats her parsley the opposite way - stalk end first. It's funny
to watch the stalk then leaves disappear.

She doesn't get pellets in a dish anymore-I just put them right on the
floor and she inhales them. I was afraid she was damaging her teeth
with the huge crock bowl...she would flip it over, etc. So now she
eats "free range".

When she gets a craisin, she grunts for it and pushes at you.

This was going to be my vote. Dazey with parsley is like Pepper with
cilantro - she starts at the skinny end and buzz-saws the entire stalk into
her mouth until the leaves disappear. Absolutely cute!

While Cartman is drinking from his water bottle, Wendy will stick her head
under the nozzle and nudge him so he will groom her instead of drinking. So
he takes a few sips and licks her, few more sips and licks her some more and
so the routine goes.
