I posted a message on the 3rd and haven't gotten any replies from it,
however I tried to find it again today and I can't find it in the
newsgroup - maybe it got lost in the internet chasm?

Anyways, I suspect my rabbit may have splay legs. He can't pull his
right hind leg in and his left hind is often slow to return to it's
spot at his side too, and he sometimes can't pull it in. His hips are
misshapen, instead of his upper hip bone resting properly against his
side it seems to turn inward under his belly. Any comments/info would
be appreciated.

Thanks,
Erica, Cricket, & Jet

Erica,

Poor little bunny. It sounds quite serious. I would take him to a vet for
assessment. I hope there is something they can do for him that is not too
expensive. I'm sorry I cannot give you any other advice. Please go as
soon as possible. It may be a dislocated hip which means the faster it's
fixed the better. He may be in pain. Rabbits will do everything they can
to look normal so he may not show any pain to you. Weakness means that a
predator gets you.

Did this just happen? How old is your bunny? This could be a
neurological problem also. Have you taken him to a VERY qualified
rabbit vet? Not someone who just says they see rabbits. Please post
more info. If it is problem with his bone structure, chiropractic may
help. My Zoe has neurological damage which ended up causing bone
deformation as she grew, and muscle atrophy. All of this adds up and
sometimes the causes of symptoms can be a number of things in
conjunction.
