Nope-not to worry. Bunnies do not catch "airborne" sickness like colds or flu,
either from you or your other pets-if your cat has the sniffles, say.
At the SPCA where I volunteer, we house the cats and bunnies together in the
same room, and have no problems.

So don't worry!

Do not worry about passing your colds to your rabbit, there are relatively few
troubles that can be passed between humans and rabbits (such as ring worm).

I don't know if bunnies can catch things from humans, but I did manage
to get the pseudomonus bacteria I was treating Julius for with salve,
oral meds and eventually shots ($24 bunny became a $600 bunny with all
the vet trips, the culture, and the treatments) in my eye. I ended up
with salve of my own from the opthalmologist. I had been very careful
using antibacterial soap, etc., but sometimes wrestling that little
bun down to put the NOSEDROPS in was a little wild and I must have
wiped at my sweaty brow at some point getting the bacteria in my eye.
