Hello,

Thought I would share this for those who want what I preume will be a long
lasting swing.

I got all the stuff in the UK - although im sure you can all find with ease.

1 x PICK AXE HANDLE It's about 1 metre in length
2 x 1 metre lengths of zinc free or coated chain
2 climbing clips
2 large u-shaped nails

1. Hang the first chain to your cage top by inserting both ends into the
climbing clip, and attaching the climbing clip to the cage.
2. About three quarters of a metre away, do the same with the second chain.
3. Hang the pick axe handle to get the position and correct chain links.
4. Mark the chain links and wood
5. Take it all down and hammer the U-Shaped nails in between the links
attaching them to the underside of the pick axe handle
6. Hang it back up!

I am crap at D.I.Y and even worse at writing instructions!!! Took me all of
5 minutes to build and hang.

It's a wicked swing, and even Harry, myt Umbrella Too is struggling to break
the wood - remember being a pick axe handle, it has to be able to take
SEVERE stress for health and safety reasons...

Gary.

That's quite an industrial strength perch! I hope you removed the axe part first - parrots can get quite angry sometimes.....

How is it one careless match can start a forest fire, but it takes a whole box to start a campfire?
