Hi everyone... I'm asking this in case I need to use one (touch wood!). No I don't need one right now, but I want to know in case I need one in the future... Are there any vets in Singapore that will handle HAMSTERS? I know there are loads of vets here, but they handle mostly dogs and cats... If you know of any that handles hamsters, please let me know!! Thanks. |__) - Unite for Java! http://www.javalobby.org |eter - Homepage http://foxtwo.cjb.net PGP Fingerprint: 8A4E C2D6 B1BA 3DA4 4B15 4AD1 91B8 7F76 BC2E DA85 Search PGP Repositories for "Peter Tan" for my key

There are two mailing list groups on Yahoo for hamster owners in Singapore.
You might want to check with folks there for referrals.

Not really....for one thing, we don't use hamsters in cooking ingredients. That previous post to me was a troll. We do, however, eat monkey brains while the monkey is still alive heheheh! JUST KIDDING!! Nah, we don't do those. The closest thing I can think of is that I heard about a restaurant somewhere in Chinatown that serves exotic food, like lizards, beetles and so on. Never heard about them serving hamsters though. Anyway I tried to look for that restaurant, but couldn't find it. Hope it closed down due to lack of business. In fact, they probably DID close down due to lack of business.. not many people are game enough to eat lizards you know.... :) |__) - Unite for Java! http://www.javalobby.org |eter - Homepage http://foxtwo.cjb.net PGP Fingerprint: 8A4E C2D6 B1BA 3DA4 4B15 4AD1 91B8 7F76 BC2E DA85 Search PGP Repositories for "Peter Tan" for my key

Jane, thanks so much for the list, sorry I didn't get back to you sooner. I was busy calling some of them to see if they handled hamsters. As I suspected, most said hamsters were too small and too fidgety to handle, "unlike dogs".... Not a problem. I was just hoping you'd received that post and had some
luck.
