LOL!!! What more can I say!!!

I just adore Garfield. When I was a teenager it was a comic strip in my
local paper up North "The Northern Echo" and I used to collect it every day
and cut it out to keep. I still have them all somewhere. I also have a
stuffed Garfield, some plastic Garfields and some Garfield badges.

Love from

He's still there Claire-Louise!! I love reading Garfield too. I have a
Garfield book, and a Garfield poster on my door that says 'Do you have
an appointment?'. I wish he was still on TV.

That strip is funny, but I'm glad it was Garfield who made it big!!

Emma.

Hi Emma

Good to hear that Garfield is still going strong in The Northern Echo. Our
local paper (The Basingstoke Gazette) doesn't often have cartoon strips in
it. Thanks.

Emma and Claire-Louise, it's great to hear such fans! If you don't mind, may I have
your permission to forward your mails to a friend of mine who writes for Garfield's
Jim Davis?

I would be honoured Jane, thank you very much. When I started reading
Garfield in the Northern Echo when I was younger, he wasn't exactly famous
(well not much), and it was great to watch his popularity grow. Say hi to
your friend for me.

Yeah, sure. Go right ahead Jane! I too would be honoured. I'm younger
than Claire-Louise(no offence!!), and when I was growing up, Garfield
had his own TV show which I used to watch all the time - it's so
funny! I like that kind of humor. Say hi from me too.

Emma.
