So what's up with the pig eating its turds? Does it mean that she
isn't getting something in her diet or is this normal? She always has
plenty of food, but she seems to LOVE eating poop. She actually pulls
it out with her paws and eats it.

Of course, it make holding her a lot more pleasant, but is there a
problem here?

No problem whatsoever with you piggie. It's actually very natural for a
piggie to eat certain droppings. These droppings contain all kind of
nutrients that she needs, especially Vit. B. (that's why these specific
pellets smell so awful to us, humans).

Thanks for responding. We learned that in another thread, and were
relieved to hear that she wasn't just being gross.

We got her when she was really small, and recently we started worrying
that she wasn't a female after all, which drove my daughter nuts. We
just adopted two male collies, and I guess she was feeling like the
females were under represented.

Anyway, she spent the night at a friend's house, so my wife and I
decided to do the dirty work. Based on this page:

She's a female. We conspired to keep it quiet from my daughter if she
ended up being a "he". LOL
