Hello Everyone!
I just wondered how important it is to worm a guinea pig. I have owned
guinea pigs for well over 10 years now, and have never wormed them and they
have been very healthy. Do you worm your guinea pig? If so, or if you can
shed some light on this area, I would be pleased to hear from you by a reply
to this post message.

Tom, From what I understand worming Guinea Pigs isn't that uncommon. I have
heard from a lady in the UK that gave me advice when I had a few rescue piggies
not gaining weight which is usally a good sign. She suggested using panacur and
ivermectin at different times and it really helped the little guys. There was
one in particular that had been fed only birdseed and he just wasn't gaining
after worming him he gained about 8 oz!! Good luck with your piggies!! Rose
