I’ve owned several Guinea Pigs in the past, but this one has me a little puzzled. I’ve never run into this problem before. When he drinks from his bottle he’s constantly drinking from the side instead of putting the whole metal piece in his mouth. On top of that he constantly dribbles water in the cage so much so that I’m refilling his water bottle SEVERAL times a day and his cage is saturated with water. I clean both cages once a week, his cage is completely saturated (near the water bottle area) by day three. The water bottle is a 16 ounce Super Pet top fill that clicks in place once it is mounted where you want it on the cage. If anyone has any tips or suggestions I’d be greatly appreciate it.

Is the little one still alive and are you reading this? Becaus I've just
come around this group lately.

I've heard about bottles with "double click" or something, which means
it has two balls in the mouthpiece instead of one. That could fix your
problem.

Get a clip on type bowl or just a bowl of water on the floor but something heavy enough it wont be knocked over. Put it in the cage but also leave the bottle there as well. When you see the guinea pig drink from the bowl then you can remove the bottle.
