I've never heard of a breeder in CA, tho that doesn't mean there isn't
one, of course. If you're willing to adopt an adult ferret, there
*are* shelters here. First place I'd try is Ferret Anonymous.

If your heart's set on a kit, you'll probably have to go out of state.
There was a breeder in Bullhead last time I was there, about 5 years
ago, and another in Yuma posted APF until a couple years ago. They're
also available in Tijuana. Hablas Espanol?
If you don't mind a Marshall Farms kit (neutered and descented), there
are two pet stores in Vegas and one in Tahoe which sell them. Not that
I've ever patronized any of the above venues.. ;)
