[You may care to know that the Bill passed ( s.3930 ) by the both U$ Senate
and House starts off by defining UNLAWFUL ENEMY COMBATANT ( I've
capitalized one phrase) - but of course BigBrother decides that YOU are
a person AND that YOU have materially supported hostilites against the
U$, that's it - no habeas corpus - you may be in the black hole
for the rest of your days and nights. -M]
'(1) (A) The term 'unlawful enemy combatant' means--
'(i) a person who has engaged in hostilities or WHO HAS PURPOSEFULLY AND
MATERIALLY SUPPORTED HOSTILITIES AGAINST THE UNITED STATES OR ITS
CO-BELLIGERENTS WHO IS NOT A LAWFUL ENEMY COMBATANT (including a person who
is part of the Taliban, al Qaeda, or associated forces); or
'(ii) a person who, before, on, or after the date of the enactment of the
Military Commissions Act of 2006, has been determined to be an unlawful
enemy combatant by a Combatant Status Review Tribunal or another competent
tribunal established under the authority of the President or the Secretary
of Defense.

***BTW, numero ono Federali Bandito Roberto Gonzales has just issued a
warning to all Federal judges not to interfere with the Bush
administration's newly acquired powers passed by Congress (without a
reading) before their hurried adjournment this past week. If they are
inclined to do so they have been advised they will find themselves "in
camera" (a closed secret hearing) and subject to dismissal.
"Bad boys, bad boys! What you gonna do? What you gonna do when they
they come for you? Bad boys, bad boys!"
Oh...... The same Gonzales that claimed before Senate hearings that
George Washington and Abraham Lincoln used 'electronic' surveilliance
on American citizens? And to, "...a far greater extent" than GWBush?

Yup.... worth another laugh if you haven't seen it. I'm wondering how many
more lies will be told before the American public finally forces the major media
to start actually reporting the truth in the news. (?)
***Surely you must be aware the major American media outlets have been
bought and paid for with oil money, just like everything else of any
import in our present day society?
Orwell's "1984" has long since come and gone. We are now well beyond
that point in time.
An Haliburton constructed concentration camp is the next step for all
dissenters of the Bush dictatorship, and it's no laughing matter.
Of course.... they haven't reported the news from the viewpoint of a
concerned planetary citizen since 911. What media isn't already owned
by neo-cons has been served with National Security Letters, gagging them
from coverage of certain subjects.
Washington Post Excerpt:
"The Patriot Act, and Bush administration guidelines for its use,
transformed those letters by permitting clandestine scrutiny of
U.S. residents and visitors who are not alleged to be terrorists
or spies. The FBI now issues more than 30,000 national security
letters a year, according to government sources, a hundredfold
increase over historic norms"

5 companies (well, 6 really) control ALL of the 'major' media you see or
hear in the United States. Each of these makes so much money that
there is little chance of them hurting. You can view the information
on the controlling interests below. These are tough times in America
and many things about media (like conglomerates and control) seriously
need to be fixed, so that this country isn't jointly spoon fed the lies which
could lead to it's demise.

There's a grassroots movement to eliminate all electronic voting
that doesn't issue a receipt and allow for a paper trail... you might
look that up.

"It takes a lot of degeneration before a country falls into dictatorship,
but we should avoid these ends by avoiding these beginnings."
-- Sandra Day O'Connor, March 9, 2006
"Should any political party attempt to abolish social security, unemployment
insurance, and eliminate labor laws and farm programs, you would not hear
of that party again in our political history. There is a tiny splinter group of course,
that believes you can do these things. Among them are... a few other Texas oil
millionaires, and an occasional politician or business man from other areas.
Their number is negligible and they are stupid."
-- President Dwight D. Eisenhower, 11/8/54
"Selfish men have always tried to skim the
cream of our national wealth in order to satify
their own greed, and their instrument in this
effort has always been the Republican Party."
-- President Harry Truman, Aug 1948
***Yeah sure, big deal! The next "election" (if there is indeed to be
one) has already been locked up via the Deibold Corporation, courtesy
of the "Congressional Voters Assistance Act of 2004".
(You might want to look that one up as well.)

***You bet! She saw what was coming and chickened out. She is
therefore just as guilty as the rest of the current (so called)
"Supreme Court", who currently sing in unison (by Presidential
appointment) to the tune of the Bush administration.

***Eisenhower warned early on in his Presidency of the dangers to our
constitutional freedoms inherent within the (then) current
military/industrial complex of post World War Two.
You might think he would be in a position to know, since it was that
very power base that sponsored his election to office.

***Harry S. Truman was the LAST genuine President America has had
since the close of World War Two, and that quite by accident.

Apparently, you'll be no help in reversing the outcome.
