I use a prog called SpywareBlaster
https://www.brightfort.com/spywareblaster.html

When I run CCleaner, it annoyingly deletes all the protection that
SpwareBlaster provides for the Firefox browser and I have to remember to
re-enable that protection manually.

As SpywareBlaster does not appear in my list of CCleaner applications, does
anyone know which box(es) I need to untick in CCleaner to prevent those
deletions happening every time I run that prog?

I know Piriform have a Forum for CCleaner questions, but thought I'd ask you
knowledgeable guys in here first.
TIA

No help I'm afraid, I stopped using CCleaner some years ago after it caused
havoc to my system.

Oh dear, sorry to hear that Froggy. I'm inclined to persevere with it
though as it's served me well over the years.

Hello aa
Go to Options - Exclusions and type in there what you want excluded from
the clean up

Ah thanks Anita, that sounds just the ticket, but I'm wondering exactly what
component(s) I'll need to enter, as have entered C:\Program
Files\SpywareBlaster\spywareblaster.exe and the protection is still getting
deleted?

Try just typing in spywareblaster.exe might be enough cos that is the
name of the file

if that does not work - go to the CCleaner Forums they are pretty good
at helping

Et voila! Thanks Anita, sure enough others have experienced the same issue.
Unchecking 'Site Preferences' under Firefox in CCleaner does the trick.
