I've got an old Dell 75UYF Lithium-Ion battery that won't run for
more than about 20 minutes any more. Does anyone know where I can
take it to have it properly disposed of? (in the Nottingham area)
I've done a google search but I could only find companies that
were interested in being sent big batches of them, not just one-offs.

Thanks in advance.

Your local council should get rid of it for you - or be able to tell you who
will take it off your hands.

You'ld think that Dell should be able to take care of that?

Tom, try:

http://eurobatteries.com/sitepages/contact.asp

I see they say they'll dispose of batteries "where-ever purchased".

I bought a phone batt from them a while ago. Good service and free postage
for return of my old battery in that case.

It seems they'll take back the whole laptop if I buy a new laptop
from them, but that's about it...
