Some thoughts about Rahxephon - Ixtli in Yoyottl (Part 1) (Repost)

This article isn't worth reading. There is nothing new in it. Those,
which know, don't need my advice, and those, which don't know, can't
understand it all. No one should believe, what I wrote, is true. So
this is only a piece of boring weird entertainment for myself.

I refer here to the anime "Rahxephon", and not to the original Mayan
mythology. I'm not explaining the anime, nor do I write a review.

To use anime as a source of information on mythology and mysticism is
imho permissible, because the creators of some anime and manga have
put great effort to obtain just this information. This is also the
reason, why some animes and mangas can be used as analogous
explanation for relationships between spirit and human soul in the
sense I discuss here now and before.


In "Rahxephon" is the concept of Ixtli, that her occurrence is the
proof for the Olin, that he will achieve yoyottl. Yoyottl is the state
of the ultimate combination of heart and mind, which is needed to tune
the world. Ixtli is the "soul" of the Xephon. The Xephon is the
partner of the combo, which Xephon and instrumentalist (Olin) will
create.

Ixtli doesn't show herself as Ixtli to those, which are capable to
become an Olin, but wouldn't become one because of the circumstances.



The analogies, in the way as I look at the situation, are as follows:

Yoyottl is the combination of spirit and human soul, when they create
an eternal living spiritual individual.

Ixtli in that case is the voice of the spirit, which reveals itself
only then to a human, when yoyottl can be obtained.



How to distinguish the voice of a real spirit from a disease:

A spirit doesn't twiddle with the human, he is associated with. He is
looking for an eternal partner and not for a slave or some kind of
controllable vessel.

First, he doesn't ask for self-destructing actions, killings, murder,
serious crimes, and so on.

Second, he doesn't ask you, to ruin yourself. On the other hand, none
should expect riches just of pure luck1). Instead, he helps his
partner's mind and personality develop. For obvious reasons he is more
efficient than any psychologist.

Third, he doesn't ask for adoration, obedience, and so on. He does not
play the "I am a God" game. He doesn't makes you believe, that you are
the savior of the world. He just occurs someday, and reveals bit by
bit, what he is.

It may be that long before that a tendency to the religious, mystical,
transcendent occurs, and it appears that he engages in secret so it is
possible to use successfully magic practices, which usually don't work
by other people. If his intervention for the practitioner becomes
transparent, then the time is approaching, when he reveals himself.


Well, this is all also in the anime to see, when Ixtli in her
different apparitions protects Ayato. Only he can use the Xephon, and
no one else. Also Quon is explaining him one thing and the other, even
if he isn't able to understand. But this naivety is typically for the
situation of a human, who is confronted with an active spirit like
Ayato with Ixtli in the anime.

Not in the anime is the special insight in his human's mind, which an
active spirit has. To handle that knowledge is the first task, a human
with an active spirit is confronted with. But an active spirit doesn't
start his ixtliness, if success isn't guaranteed. Therefore, there is
nothing to fear.

That last part is in the anime, too, when under all circumstances
Itsuki Kisaragi stays calm, and continues to say, that the Olin Ayato
will be ok no matter what.



How to know, which action it needs to merge a human soul with a
spirit.

regarded as a fraud, because such a game is based on probabilities and
the unpredictability of the exact future. A real spirit doesn't do
something like that.

This happens not, because there is a supernatural obligation to act
morally well. There is none. It happens, because an immoral act leads
to a darkening of the soul and prevents the human from moving forward.
Such actions of immorality create images and projections at deeper
levels of the consciousness, obscuring the view of the real reality,
when it matters to see it clearly.

Regardless, there is a recommendation to act in ways that people
develop themselves and freely live. Without this no people and
civilizations might come into being, whose souls are suitable as a
partner for spirits, and the local mankind would be trapped here for
ever.

There are other reasons, too, like individual evolution and to avoid
to become addicted to money, and miss the correct exit therefore. But
all this is something else, and not part of this topic in the first
place.

Well, to whom will that happen?

It will happen to those, which have already gone on that path in their
former life or lifes, but haven't come to the successful end. The
fusion may be only stable for some time but not eternal. So the
associated spirit and soul decided, to go through a human life again,
to finish, what they once started.

It also indicates, which of the several possible paths should be used
from now on. This special path can only be used, if there was an
initial experience before, but it is clear, that doesn't mean, it is
the only one.

To make it clear, it is not an impression or the feeling, to be
guided. Ixtli has to reveal herself. She usually starts, when doing
so, resembling a person, which you like, just as shown in Rahxephon.
But that is not a rule carved in stone.

What could it have been, what made the fusion incomplete?

Usually it is some unfinished business. So you have to clear it this
time. You have to get rid of everything that is nagging you. It's not
about to save the world, but it's about your own tiny experiences in
your life. Things you are ashamed off, because you think, you have
done something wrong. Flaws in your character because you had the
wrong friends, partners, parents and so on. You have to solve this
problems in your mind. Avoid flimsy excuses, but don't force yourself
either. It is the flow of water, that washes down the mountains.

If you don't solve this problems in your mind, if you don't get a flat
landscape of your memories and emotions, you will be disturbed by them
in the moment, when it hurts you most.

It's not about to stay calm or emotionless. The problems must be
solved in your mind. In your mind! Don't kill someone instead.

So, to begin with, it only needs the wish to leave. Not to gain power,
not to gain influence or riches by doing so. It is the deep and honest
wish to get out of this material life form once and forever. Don't
beg. Want it as it is yours from the beginning. Take care of your
body. You depend on it. You gain nothing, if you hurt yourself.

Well, at the other hand it indicates that there is something like
reincarnation. But, do not count on it. What you can do, do it this
life. You have no guarantee that you will have such a possibility
again.
