UFO CRASH IN LESOTHO 1995
by Andreas von Retyi

There are two sets of documents, the first one with 20 pages, the second one
with 22 pages.

The first one contains a police report and a military report of what happened
in the mountains of Lesotho on Sept. 15 and 16 of 1995. All documents are
written in capital letters in the original.

Here is a transcript of pages 3 to 6 of 20.

SECRET / GEHEIM
PRIORITY INTERNAL REPORT

CASE HISTORY

On 15 September 95 at 22 h 20 local time, a black farmer Mr. Peter Lachasa
notified Sgt. Thobo of the Leribe Police Department that he found a very
strange looking craft on his farm which lay 12 km west of the Madibamatso
River in Lesotho.

According to Mr. Lachasa, at 21 h 15 local time he heard a strange sound in
the sky near his farm which frightened his cattle and livestock.

Approximately 2 minutes later a dull explosion was heard. The complainant
then went outside his house to investigate the cause.

Friends of Mr. Lachasa who also live in the boundaries of his farm informed
him that they had been watching a bright light in the sky that was slowly
descending to the ground, heading on a course towards the Lesotho foothills.
According to the witnesses the object exploded on impact with the ground,
giving off a series of blinding flashes.

The complainant, who from now on will be referred to as the primary witness,
then accompanied his friends to the site where the object had impacted.

According to the primary witness an electronic humming sound emanated from
the craft after which the light around it diminished and the object became
dull grey in color. An intense heat field surrounded the craft which made
close up inspection by the primary witness impossible. Dry grass in the area
was set alight by the intense heat field surrounding the craft.

Fearing that the craft might have injured occupants, the primary witness
decided to inform the local police department at Leribe of the incident.

POLICE REPORT

LERIBE POLICE DEPARTMENT
LESOTHO

SECRET / GEHEIM
PRIORITY INTERNAL REPORT

On 15 September 95 at 22 h 20 local time Mr. Peter Lachasa arrived at Leribe
Police Department and informed Sgt. Thobo who was duty officer that night,
that he had found a strange aircraft on his farm which he requested the
police to remove from his property as this was frightening his cattle.

The primary witness went on to explain how he and other witnesses on his farm
saw the object crash near the foothills on his farm.

At 22 h 34 local time Sgt. Thobo and Constable Nandi escorted the witnesses
to the site to investigate the complaint. On arrival the police officers made
the following entry into their incident report.

1) A large round disk shaped object lay within the boundaries of Mr.
Lachasa's farm.

2) The object measured approx. 18 meters in length and 3 meters in height.

3) The object was dull grey in color.

4) No windows / portholes or any form of entry / exit could be seen on the
craft.

5) The craft did not appear to have any external damage or breakage even
though the terrain surrounding the craft was severely disturbed.

Sgt. Thobo radioed his observations to Leribe Police Department whilst on the
site and was instructed to return to the department and make an official
report.

At 00 h 15 local time, a Lesotho Government official was contacted and a
report consisting of two pages was faxed to South African Military Command 1
SAI Intelligence Unit in Bloemfontein on authorization of the Lesotho
Government.

MILITARY REPORT

SECRET / GEHEIM
PRIORITY INTERNAL REPORT

MILITARY COMMAND / 1 SAI. INTELLIGENCE UNIT
BLOEMFONTEIN

The Intelligence Unit at 1 SAI. received a fax from the Lesotho Ministry of
Defence in Maseru at 00 h 17 local time regarding a crash of an alleged
inidentified / unconventional flying object /aircraft that impacted on the
farm of Mr. Peter Lachasa, a black cattle and livestock farmer who is located
12 km west of the Madibamatso River near Leribe.

Due to the nature of the incident it was decided to request information and
possible confirmation from military air traffic control in Bloemfontein on
any military / civilian aircraft in the sector at the time of the incident.
It was noted that there were no aircraft in the area other than a routine Air
Force Puma helicopter which patrolled South African / Lesotho border approx
30 minutes before the alleged incident took place.

Commander George Human from the Airborne Division at 1 SAI. / 1 PARA
Battalion instructed an aerial assessment of the area in question.

Two Alouette rescue helicopters were sent to the area. At 01 h 17 local time
rescue team leader Captain Manie Louw reported that he was at the designated
area and that a fierce veld fire had engulfed the area. He went on to report
his observations of the area as follows:

1) An area of approx. 400 square meters engulfed in fire.

2) A disc shaped metallic looking object of about 20 meters in length that
seemed to be intact.

3) The terrain around the object was torn up and severely disturbed by the
impact.

4) Due to the fact that it was night and smoke from the fire obscured vision,
clear observations could not be made at the time.

Captain Manie Louw was instructed to patrol / secure the area until further
instructions were given.

To more than one of the officers at 1 SAI Intelligence Unit, this incident
had the same markings of a similar event which took place in the Kalahari
desert / Botswana in May 1989 and [they] decided on the same course of action
as was done then.

Military Intelligence in Pretoria was informed and instructed 1 SAI Intel. to
maintain a sterile area of 150 meters around the craft, after which they will
take complete control over the situation.

3 battalion from 1 SAI Intelligence Unit was flown to the area to guard /
secure the object until Foreign Technology Recovery Division from Valhalla
Air Force Base arrived at the site.

At 03 h 47 local time the area and object was secured and operation ROLD TSR
came into effect.

Due to the fact that this was a military intelligence operation dealing with
an unidentifiable foreign technology, all members of 3 batallion were issued
with orders to arrest / eliminate any intruders who strayed into the secured
area.

The area remained sterile until Foreign Technology Recovery Unit arrived at
05 h 55 local time.

We at 1 SAI. Intel Unit / Bloemfontain hope that this report you requested
will suffice.

Please inform us if you require any further assistance.

[Andreas von Retyi's commentary continues as follows.]

The explosive nature of this incident -- if it happened this way -- is
enlarged by information from other documents that three occupants of the
craft were rescued -- of extraterrestrial origin and alive.

>From a "Preliminary Medical Report" we know that the beings were brought into
a research unit of the Swartkop Air Force Base in Pretoria for a close
examination. The beings were anesthetized and then brought to a "Delta
-Level" of the underground building where another team of specialised
physicians did further tests.

In the "Preliminary Medical Report" it is said that the tests did show that
the beings are humanoids with some reptilian aspects and have an apparently
underdeveloped skeleton construction.

[Andreas von Retyi notes that some alleged witnesses, including the examining
physician, have had "great difficulties with official authorities" in the
aftermath of this incident. In addition, other documents suggest that the
South African government took pains to keep the British and U.S. governments
away from the case, as if fearing the possible loss of valuable recovered
technology. Other documents also allude to a super-secret organization within
the South African power structure, code-named "Illuminated Nine," which seems
analogous to "Majestic Twelve."

Real proof??? Verified as true??? you have to be joking!!..Are u joking
Art?
No one would be stupid enough to believe this clap trap.(well maybe you do!)
Again another fine example of Art's lack of research or maybe he is
purposely misleading the public.
These so called top secret documents were sent to ParaScope a few years
back. And what was their verdict of the information received? read below

The Lesotho Incident

A View Through the ParaScope

by Paul Thompson
Nebula Editor
PSC...@aol.com

The following report was forwarded to us a few weeks ago by Joachim Koch, a
medical man practicing in Berlin-Spandau and an active participant in the
International Roswell Initiative. IRI is a grassroots organization whose
goal to is compel the U.S. government to reveal the truth about the 1947
Roswell Incident.

As Dr. Koch will tell you himself shortly, certain documents were sent to
some German UFO researchers last year, purporting to be secret South African
military and police reports on the crash of an unidentified, apparently
extraterrestrial device in the kingdom of Lesotho in 1995.

After reading this report, I have to say I am quite unconvinced as to the
veracity of the documents obtained by Herr von Retyi and his colleagues. The
whole notion of a top secret body known as the "Illuminated Nine" strains
all credulity, and smacks too much of an imitation of the equally dubious
"Majestic Twelve," said to have been created to investigate the alien crash
at Roswell. Government agencies just don't give themselves such melodramatic
titles. If such a group ever did exist, it would have a drab, unremarkable
name -- or no name at all. After all, the atom bomb program was simply known
as the Manhattan Project, and Lockheed's famous experimental aircraft shop
was called the Skunkworks. Naming a group "the Illuminated Nine" is not only
ludicrous, it's just not the way code names work.

Equally dubious is "van Greunen's" assertion that mistakes in the leaked
documents are deliberate. This is so obviously an attempt to cover up
ineptitude by a hoaxer I won't comment further except to say secret
documents are given tracking and index numbers to attest to their
authenticity.

If I'm so doubtful, why are we offering this report to you, ParaScope's
readers? It is very interesting, and very instructive to read. We support
the efforts of the IRI, even if we don't agree with all of their beliefs and
conclusions. So we'll continue to follow the story of the Lesotho Incident,
and let you know what happens. Please remember, ParaScope does not endorse
the authenticity of these alleged documents!

Isn't it amazing how all these UFO kooks can get their hands on these Top
Secret documents. It's even more amazing that these fools go ahead and post
this top secret information on their websites. If it was a top secret
document the website would of been pulled down within 5 minutes of posting
the information and everyone associated with the it would of been arrested!

There are hundreds of cases like this one.
If one takes a serious look at UFO literature
and does a little digging for oneself it is obvious
that there is definitely something to these reports.
SO WHY do the debunkers always try and steer the debate
around to "these things are only seen by the lunatic fringe"
Then go prattling on and on and on about various psychological
theories. I have studied psychology and it is they who are
the loonies. Academics can live in ivory towers sometimes
and sneer at 'lay' common sense.
The Klass and the Obergs of this world may very well be
sincere and have a fine education. It doesn't mean they
are right or even work for some alphabet soup branch of
some government.

Take into account the very real possibility that UFO crashes are the
crashes of advanced technology military aircraft in which the cover-up
of UFO "little green men" and the counter cover-up of then claiming the
UFO sightings or crash evidence is from the "lunatic fringe"
or "aliens" is the means the government uses to keep this technology
under wraps, and also to try to hide the fact that much of this
technology, and the scientists working on it in the beginning, was
borrowed from Nazi Germany in "Operation Paperclip".

Kewl. A fellow metaphysician who has also remained tapped into more
mundane streams of intelligence regarding disinfo, PSYOPS, Paperclip,
etc.

The "evil" Jim Oberg, some on these lists may recall, was quite vocal
about this a few years back. Had any of you stopped crying "Witch! Burn
him!" long enough, this facet of the overall enigma would've more
productively settled in and we'd've all emerged the wiser for it.

And, FWIW, Phil "The Day After Roswell" Corso was allegedly a huge
Paperclip supporter; evidently deluded into believing that The Red
Menace of Communism posed a far greater threat than those spindly li'l
rectum-coring Reticulans who gave him all that cool technology and
stuff.

Sometimes stuff just don't add up quite right, no?

Do you mean made up cases? Ever wondered why the government lets these "top
secret" reports float around on the web.

Yes, they are all hoaxs!

Ummm maybe cause they are only seen by the luntitic fringe.

Is "loonies" the medical term that you learnt after all your years of study?
Which school did you go to? hillbilly college? You obviously don't know the
first thing about psychology so I would get a refund if I was you.

Depends who one works for and whether one
has contact directly with some of the reports.
You would be surprised I am sure.
Some laugh at Timothy Good 'Alien Liason'
I know some of his reports are correct.
But you don't have to believe me as do
not need convincing.

Do you realise what the penalty is for removing or having in ones possession
top secret documents ? You generally get a fully paid suite at the local
penitentiary for the next 20-50 years plus, as a bonus prize, a boyfriend
called bubba. So what do these people do with these documents knowing the
penalty? Lets put it on a website. The government will never look there....

Don't you love the way that "secret" documents always find their way into
some Joe Shmoe's hands? And that Joe always posts them? And Joe never
get prosecuted? Yeah, right.

It's pretty convenient that our human affecting anesthetics work well on
aliens, isn't it?

And of course every country has to have it's super secret controling
organization with the melodramatic name that would attract immediate attention.

So what happened to the object? Is it still sitting there? Who saw the
trucks and/or helecopters that took it away? Or did it just conveniently
disappear?

I just wish one of two things would happen:
1. That more people would recognize these clearly made up stories.
2. That the creators of these fairy tales would get a little more clever
and write something believable.
