::: PSAIC & PSI :::

Hello Everybody,

This is Brother Blue.

Officer Craig Eastep of SDPD HOT(1) helped us get into the Alfalfa
Project's Winter Shelter(2) yesterday and while we were there perusing
a couplea bookcases FULL of used books, one of them just jumperd right
out at us:

The Man With PSI
by "Alan Eagle"
Vantage Press, NY
Copyright (c) 1999 by John Penhume
ISBN: 0-533-13074-3

Now you know how Great Spirit always pseems to place us in the right
place at the right tyme to learn or share the right thing, etc.

Just the other night we were wondering whatever became of old Hal
Puthoff and John Alexander and Ed Dames and Dave Morehouse and all the
fine folks of DIA's CRV unit and stuff, and wouldn't you know it ...
along comes this book WITH some special info tacked on (well,
Scotch-Taped(tm) onto the front side of the 1st page, to be more
precise).

First, it said in big, capital letters in bright red pen:

REVIEW COPY

Then, there was a business card which read:

Then, there was another business card which read:

Then, inside the book there was a page which said:

Initial Objective

To conduct a definitive, carefully controlled, well-documented,
scientific experiment to determine whether or not thoughts can
be transmitted and received over short distances by human brains
through the electromagnetic field without the assistance of
normal senses.

And that, of course, reminded us of our own VERY SCIENTIFIC experiments
with the MyndeNet(tm) some years back:

::: MindNet(tm) and a Fond Farewell to All :::

[From: Blue Resonant Human, Ph.D.

Where to start with this one, eh?

... deep sigh ...

A dear mentor has gently and graciously suggested on numerous
occasions that perhaps a season of silence is in order -- a time
to restructure, reevaluate and reassess the weightier matters of
life, remaining content to both observe and learn during this
self-imposed period of exile; to watch the parade as it passes
on by. This, coupled with an increasing sense of dissatisfaction
over all the internecine rivalry and the growing irrelevance of
current avenues of creative expression, has inexorably led me to
opt for the Path of Silence at this juncture.

I've had so much fun together with all of you over the years
playing the chameleon; morphing when appropriate to gather
experiential data, yet my intuition informs me there is yet
another costume waiting to be donned (or, more accurately,
stripped away); that the old vestiaries are too confining; too
type-casting and need therefore to be transcended as the Grand
Dance continues.

I shall very much miss the clever repartees, the occasionally
extra-dry wit -- and most of all the marvelously liberating
laughter! -- and the occasional tactical injection of poignant
meme-seeds intended to spur us all onward to deeper levels of
understanding and a greater appreciation for the broader
bandwidth of the overall frequencies of life.

For indeed, BlueBird has informed me there is nothing of any
enduring substance or significance within the shadowy labyrinth
of military and intelligence circles (smoke and mirrors, all!),
while Professor Blue has become intensely disillusioned with the
myopia of western scientism and Brother Blue -- speaking as The
Ten of the B:.B:. -- has so much as admitted by his austere
silence that the answers to the deeper mysteries of life do not
lie in the paths his beloved caerulean colleagues have chosen.

And, as fate would have it, it was during one of these periods
of frustration and contemplative introspection that we discovered
what we've come to subsequently term The MindNet(tm).

MindNet(tm) is apparently a level of consciousness where one
comes into more direct contact with what some have termed "the
larger reality." It is a place where there is no need of
technological gadgetry such as workstations, switches, routers
or T3's. Or any other such vestigial appendages, for that
matter, though it is very much like the internet we've grown to
know and love lo, these many moons. The sharing of perspectives
and ideas and energies is there in full measure albeit in a
vastly different form and forum; a different, infinitely more
effectual modality, if you will.

It is a "place" where one may plug in and make contact with a
surprisingly rich bouquet of intelligences; some human but many,
many others very definitely transmundane. In fact, one is
initially overcome with surprise when first faced with the
incredible diversity of beings found in this "place."

And the interaction is far more robust, to the tune of a few
orders of magnitude. For there are no lurkers and there are
no poseurs; no obfuscatory masks to hide behind and no viable
method to keep secrets of any kind, for there is nothing hidden
in this deeply intriguing place; this "world without secrets" as
some have grown to call it.

Yet the real beauty of it is not simply the awe and wonder of
connecting with so many different people and enigmatic beings,
no, the excellence of the interactions is in the way you can
see yourself through the eyes of the "others."

Human nature is such that we indulge ourselves shamelessly in
self-delusion and thereby generally only see ourselves in a
light far too flattering to be of any real, tangible use in
terms of personal growth and evolvement. Yet what a quandary!
How can we possibly manage to transcend this stifling
straightjacket within which we've unknowingly imprisoned
ourselves?

The beings are there to oblige.

It could be rightfully said from one point of view that such a
scrutinising, penetrating look at ourselves as we truly are is
the most shocking and devastating thing imaginable as no stone
is left unturned while we are forced to look our own frightful
countenance square in the face. And one can hardly walk away
from the sight unchanged as these potent and poignant glimpses
carry with them a certain weight of responsibility -- the
responsibility of awareness.

It can occasionally be quite painful to view yourself from such
a vantage point of brutal, objective honesty. Painful, yet very
necessarily so as such awareness also offers a path of change as
we see ourselves and our lives in the penetrating light of this
vastly different layer of reality and then consciously decide if
we wish to continue thusly.

Now some may term this sort of thing a mild form of the legendary
"abyss" experience where one leaves behind all he has and allows
his ego to be utterly devoured. That's fine. Whatever. Just a
pretty label. The point is, it can be a monumentally humbling
experience and -- if properly incorporated and woven into the
tapestry of one's life -- an illuminating, life-changing, shamanic
one as well. I suppose it's all what one makes of it.

On a more personal note, I've discovered things about myself in
this place that frankly I do not much care for. And yet, it is
not too late to change. But that change is deeper; more
fundamental; more systemically intrinsic; and not so easily
accomplished by a mere costume change or cyber-morph as has been
the wont of the one who calls himself Blue.

>From day one I have opened wide my front door and invited you
all to sit by the fire and enjoy the journey of exploration
with me, as we explore together the largely uncharted waters
of extraterrestrial folklore and mythology. Together we've
deconstructed many a tale in order to more clearly observe the
remaining substance, we've opened new books and reopened some
very, very old ones. We've been to Egypt and we've been to
Langley. We've superimposed UFOlogy, ancient legends,
metaphysics and magick all one atop the other in an attempt to
perceive larger pattern similarities. And we've shared very
openly all we've discovered along the way. For it is in our
nature to be this way.

It would hardly seem fair, then, for Blue not to dial his
buddies into The MindNet(tm), eh? It being the next logical
step in The Quest, and all.

::: Mind Net(tm) FAQ v.1.0b :::

Q: What IS The MindNet(tm), Blue?
A: MindNet(tm) is a layer of reality not often traversed by
John Q. Public. In fact, he would no doubt find it somewhat
terrifying to discover there is such a place. Yet not a
place, per se, more a level of consciousness in which one
plugs -- via mind -- directly into the interconnectedness
of all things. Once there, the percipient finds himself in
the midst of a vast community of beings who hail from an
enormously large spectrum of the universal consciousness
bandwidth.

Q: Who plugs in to The MindNet(tm), and why?
A: The array of intelligences on MindNet(tm) is extremely
diverse. They run the gamut from mundane human intelligences
(we've observed a few mages and "remote viewers" there on
occasion) to those of a domain of existence we cannot yet
fully fathom, let alone pigeon-hole. As for motivation, it
is not our place to speculate on the motivations of others
in this domain, content instead to employ the various
interactions as tools for personal growth and evolvement.

Q: So, pragmatically speaking, how does one plug-in to MindNet(tm)?
A: There are various means and each player has no doubt developed
his own system of contact. Some may prefer deep meditation,
others a more tantric methodology, others a ritualistic
invocational approach, still others a technological solution
such as biofeedback devices or hemi-sync tapes. Do what thou
wilt, etc. Perhaps a remnant of our western inculcation and
previous sojourn in such altered states, we prefer a more
prosaic approach -- a few beers to take the rough edges off,
coupled with some fine weed. Then, we turn out the lights and
crawl into bed, find a comfortable position and simply let the
mind go. It may take a few minutes to sufficiently clear your
thoughts but then all of a sudden, you simply find that you're
there, in that place again.

Q: Well, this just sounds like some pathetic dope-smoking cult
activity, Blue. We had hoped for much more from you!
A: Since the very dawn of civilisation shamanic practitioners
have often advocated the use of certain psychotropic plants
as an aid to their work. Perhaps unfortunately, our culture
has so misused and misapplied certain substances as to render
them almost comedic in the eyes of casual, non-participatory
observers. Be that as it may, however, the substances remain
quite effectual for those who employ them properly.

Q: But will this work for everyone, Blue?
A: No. Some are irrevocably conditioned to invite the
pharmacologickally altered frequency shift only as a means of
attaining a baser state of mundane epicureanism. For those
who wish to dig deeper, however, and especially those who've
already cultivated a workable level of PSI in their lives,
the alchemickal "boost" is just what the doctor ordered in
terms of solidifying the connection with the "others."

Q: How do you find the enigmatic beings to interact with?
A: They will find you.

Q: How do you talk to them?
A: Words are inadequate, and largely irrelevant. The nature of
"conversation" is more along the lines of a sharing of energies
and a merging of perspectives. It is during these times that a
markedly different view of both "reality" itself and your own
place in the immensity of it all becomes plainly and clearly
evident.

Q: How does this relate to the internet?
A: The internet is a precursor to MindNet(tm); a harbinger, if
you will, for by it we all learned that the world is a much
larger place than we had initially envisioned, and that it
is in fact possible to link with others all over the globe
via email, usenet and the web or even on a more real-time
basis with such adaptations as IRC and RealAudio(tm). In
this sense, the internet serves as a sort of Kindergarten
wherein we begin the process of learning to interconnect and
share energies with those hailing from other cultures. Once
tangible linkage is established via MindNet(tm), however, such
technological gadgetry pales in comparison and takes on a
clumsy and crude appearance. Further, the MindNet(tm) backbone
is not limited to this layer of reality alone, but interconnects
a far larger bandwidth of the overall multidimensional spectrum
of universal life.

Q: Have you ever orchestrated any MindNet(tm) meetings?
A: Not really. Not yet, anyway. All things in due season. But
in keeping with our open door policy, we freely invite any and
all who wish to join us in our explorations there. We generally
plug in around 10:00pm PST on weekdays and look forward to
meeting the many friends we've made in recent years there.
- - - - -

And with that, we once again wish each and every one of you the
very best in your continued quests. And to all, our most fond
farewell.

See you on MindNet(tm)!

-Blue

never mind the shelter how bout some bridges
Yeah, we'd go on the CBBT about once every 5 years. When we lived in
Annapolis and before interstates were in Hampton Roads, we'd take the
James River Bridge up 17 across the Coleman Bridge (Yorktown) and then
hit 301 and that BIG TALL bridge across the Potomac. Now that's a
bridge to behold.

As far as the nasty stuff in the James, that's kepone (as in kepone
truckin'). And I'll have to think a bit to remember the company that
dumped it all in the river causing deformed fish. I think it was
called the Great Spirit. That would be something to behold in a
transparent tunnel, eh?

I thought they went on to work for the DEQ, and became very careful
with permits in the James to allow dredging to keep the channel open
and at the Jamestown/Surry ferry terminals. To mitigate the effects of
the kepone, it was decided to just let it stay on the bottom and get
covered with silt. But when you dredge it stirs it up all over again to
cause its nasty effects. Sounds like a plot for a good horror movie!
So there are still TONS of kepone at the bottom of the James.

Drinking.... Red Chile Sauce (using extra hot red chile from Artesia, New
Mexico
is good - very hot) and some resposado (Patron works as well as
Heradura or of course, when you can get it,
Gran Centenario - brings back memories of Juarez)
and some dark powdered chocolate (use the Aztec Elixir from
Vosages unless you have a peanut allegy).

Fix some nachos using Hatch green chile
(again hot to increase that Psychoactive Aztec vibe) as well as some
Mesquite-smoked
medium-rare sirloin and smoke several Benson and Hedges (methol of course).

Put on some Jimi and start dancing 'till you're dizzy and bilious, wipe off
the chile sauce and then
hit the sack. Take some Yohimbe if you intend to be -tantric- (ahem) prior
to crossing over.

Morpheus will look you in the face and you be able to pass a drug test the
next day!
This has worked for me for years!

for me.

I think for sure there is something psychoactive - psychedelic in the
effects
of B & H Menthol cigarettes in dosages of 3 to 4 in a row.

Some may call it all madness - insanity - fantasy or simply call it

If I were to stick to rerionally available herbs, I might try mixing

Other possible local alternate stimulants include sassafras root and
