Many tales of the ark of the covenant being found exist. We have heard
them all. Miraculous psychic quests and revelations from afar. Finds
rooted in accidental stubbed toes. Even arks hidden from scientists by
government agencies. And so on and so forth. At least the one which
predicts the ark of the covenant has been found under the face as a man
having a lion's body (the egyptian sphinx) comes close to making some sort
of sense with Ezekiel's 1:10 and Revelation's 4:7 lion, ox (calf), face as
a man, and flying eagle located over the throne (ark of the covenant).
But even in that find there is no ox (calf) and flying eagle.
Investigation of the winged sphinx of Boeotian Thebes, and others, also
lack any sign of the ox(calf) of Ezekiel's 1:10 and Revelation's 4:7
description of the site. No, there is only one stone which rests over the
ark of the covenant, the same which matches not only Ezekiel's 1:10 and
Revelation's 4:7 locator, but also Daniel's 7:4 diverse descriptions
of "the stone which the builders rejected", the one Stonehenge Heelstone.
No miracles, no stubbed toes, no coverups by the government agencies, no,
just the genuine ark of the covenant. And what good is it anyway? It is
only a metal box and will not change anything. But at least we will not
have to read about all of these fantasy ark of the covenant tales on the
internet anylonger.

Actually Heelstone is at the pearly white chalk "door" of heave'n
(Stonehenge). But aside from that, yes, there is nothing that resembles
an ox (calf) at the sites where digs are planned or are taking place. And
nothing that even comes close in appearance to Daniel's bear and/or
leopard. Furthermore, the Heelstone's wings are "plucked", having only
the underside of them exposed, this stone was lifted up (unlike the
sphinx, which was not), on one side looking like a bear, with three ribs
(bevels) in its lion's mouth, the leopard does have four wings which
adjoin with the two of the eagle's totaling six, and the Heelstone is full
of eye holes within (unlike the sphinx, which has none). As to why such
digs are being planned or conducted at sites having some, but not all, of
the descriptions recorded by Ezekiel, Daniel, and Revelation, the same
which mark in detail the final resting place of the ark, is the real
mystery, much greater than where and how it got there.
Probably "get-famous-rich-quick" schemes by their supporters.
