Chad Deetkin, a Canadian crop- circle researcher, in a recent talk
and slide show at the UFO Meet-up group in Vancouver, said there is
ancient spiritual presence that he and others have felt while
investigating many crop circles in England. He said that most of the
most complex and what he believes to be real crop circles are showing
up near Megalithic sites such as Avebury, Stonehenge, Silbury Hill,
Alton Barnes etc. Many of these sites and fields where at one time
used as ancient pagan ritual and worship places.

Is it possible that the the spirits that were once worship by people
following the Old ways are manifesting again? Some new agers are
calling crop circles temporary temples or portal areas. Colin Andrews,
a well known crop circle researcher also notices the placement of crop
circles near pagan megalithic sites and on ley lines. He believes that
this is not a coincidence. He mentions that researchers have had
“missing time” or distortions of time in some crop circle. Sighting of
tall blonde humanoids, mysterious lights and ufos have also been seen
and sometimes photographed.

A 1998 miniseries film, “Merlin” dramatically shows the transition
from the Old Ways to the new religion of Christianity which was being
embraced by King Arthur and his knights. One of the main characters is
“Mab”, a fairy queen. Fairies origins theories are discussed @

“Mab appeared as the main antagonist in the 1998 fantasy mini-series,
Merlin. She is portrayed as a cruel, power-hungry, somewhat
sociopathic goddess and the twin sister of the Lady of the Lake. She
seeks to stem the rise of Christianity in Britain and maintain the Old
Ways (pre-Christian paganism), as their power is tied to the peoples’
belief. As such, in that retelling she creates Merlin, and then, when
he takes up the Christians’ cause, attempts to destroy him, such as by
orchestrating the affair between Guinevere and Lancelot and the
treachery of Mordred.” – Wikipedia

If you watch this film you may discover some further clues to who or
what are the spirits behind the crop circle and other paranormal
phenomena.
