Pluto Returns to Capricorn

Between these works Pluto has been downgraded from a
“Planet” to lesser significance. In Pluto’s world, metaphorically,
this magnifies its need for significance and paradoxically increases
its strength.
When Pluto last entered Capricorn 245 years ago, the
American independence was beginning by completing a nine year war at
its borders with the French and Indian war. Like the current events
the divine rulership of Kings and Popes was exposed as fraudulent and
misguided (Pluto’s transit through Sagittarius). The power of beliefs
was replaced by material strategy (Capricorn).[1]
France gave up its claim to Canada to Britain as well as
the Louisiana territories. Britain then went on in an attempt to
dominate the New World with taxes it needed to pay for its massive
debt incurred by the conquests. The “Sons of Liberty” instigated by
Samuel Adams was born and by December of 1773 the Boston Tea Party set
in motion the crux of what would become the expression of Pluto in
Capricorn; The more the King (the authority/Capricorn) tried to force
the new territories into submission and gain control of their
resources (Scorpio/Pluto) the more empowered became the territories
and a “Declaration of free and independent states” was produced by
Thomas Jefferson, John Adams, Benjamin Franklin….and the story is well
known.
As a consequence of this domination of what was rightfully
the Native Americans territory, the last of the unspoiled wilderness
of North America began its demise along with any notion of harmony
with the natural world.

breaches. Like a man dying for many days, he is numb to the
stench. . .When the last red man has vanished from the earth, and the
memory is only the shadow of a cloud moving across the prairie, these
shores and forests will still hold the spirits of my people, for they
love this earth as the newborn loves its mother's heartbeat. . . One
thing we know-our God is the same. This earth is precious to Him. Even
the white man cannot be exempt from the common destiny.” Sealth,

Nor has he been; this prophetic statement is a part of this article as
Global Climate change destroys the planet. Written 16 years ago and
published 10 years ago in my book “The Integrated Astrological Guide”
I stated that the Grail that needed to be found was the understanding
of being one with—and a return to---nature. That Grail, and its time
frame, has been lost.
We see in the last ingress of Pluto into Capricorn that Saturn had
just conjoined Uranus in Aries. Like the Uranus/Pluto quadratures in
2012, this conjunction was still squared the entrance of Pluto in
Capricorn. Governmental conflicts solved by individuals. What is
necessary in a Republic is the responsibility of each and every
participant to further that agreement. This is the only way out of the
current climate crisis.[2] Saturn is disposed of by Mercury in
Aquarius. Corporate structures will fail and because Mars opposes
Pluto upon its entrance through retrogradation, the war machine will
be seen to have undermined our very existence.
Global dimming is confusing the actual rate of warming.[3] Because of
delusional religious beliefs (Pluto in Sagittarius) precious time has
been lost and the acceleration of necessary strategies to combat the
complete destruction of the Earth from the onslaught of commercialism
and corporate domination, and like the last transit at this position,
the world will not be the same forever more. The greed for material
domination has destroyed the material itself. China will lead the
destruction of the Earth and species. Between the overfishing of the
oceans and those oceans being overtaxed from absorption of poisons
(Saturn in Virgo disposes of Pluto, Mercury disposes of Saturn
disposed of by Uranus in Mutual reception with Neptune in Aquarius)
the eco-system will fail.
On January 25, 2008 Pluto returns to transform the perspective of the
inhabitants of the planet and bring to light the effects of giving
power to the illusion of material progress and dominion. We are no
closer to an enlightened world, nor do we have any greater awareness
of our purpose on the planet than we did 245 years ago. But we do have
iPods and air conditioning. What founders intend and followers create,
rarely converge.
Capricorn is the Apex of the Earth signs; the Great Earth conjunction
in 2000 was in Taurus. Of the Earth, the true spirit behind matter
returns to ask for an accounting. Paradoxically, we will need those
inventions to defend ourselves against our own mother.
