Delightful Original Oil Painting by Canadian Artist Helmut Langeder
(SCA member).
This is a bucolic landcape scene (pond and grazing cattle....) about
8"x10", beautifully framed with a high quality ornate style gold
wooden frame.
It is in superb condition and would be a lovely acquisition for your
home or office. It is very classic in style and its' peaceful tone
harks back to the old European masters who painted in saner times.
The Society of Candian Artists says this about Langeder:
"As a young boy, Helmut excelled in drawing and started painting in
oils at the age of fourteen. He worked for forty years in commercial
art as designer and illustrator reaching the top in his field and
winning many awards. Helmut was partner of a well known graphic design
firm in Montreal (Catala Design Group) for twenty seven years.
"Painting nature, rural scenes or quaint villages has been for the
most part been my fascination. It's my way of sharing my life
experiences with others."
Helmut is a member of the Society of Canadian Artists, the
Beaconsfield Artists Association, the Artists Circle of the West
Island and the Society of Illustrators of Quebec. He exhibited for
more than five years at the Montreal Eatons Art Gallery as well as in
several group and solo exhibits over the years. His work can be found
in many private and corporate collections."
