What files are required by IMAPI service and how can I install and start it?

Your previous post said that you can't burn or play CD's. If it couldn't
burn them, but still played them, and if you were using XP rather than
Win2000 then IMAPI may well be relevant. But the symtems suggest, very very
strongly, that you have a hardware failure.
