How do you make a boot disk in win 2000?

I need to make a boot disk using Win 2000
with just sytem files so I can upgrade my motherboard bios

You'll need a DOS boot disk, not a W2K boot disk.

www.bootdisk.com
They have links for 'bare' boot disks for just your purpose.

since you do not need the hard disk for this
why not boot with a win98 start-up disk?
