Modem Dialer

Could anyone recommend a modem dialer that works well with XP? I used
Dunce with Win 98, but it is not compatible according to their web
site. Thanks.

What does the dialer do? All I want is an automatic dialer to connect to
the Internet. This dialer looks awfully complicated and seems to be for
making phone calls to people and conferencing. Sorry if I sound like a dummy
about this, but I really cannot figure out how to just configure it to dial
my ISP.

If you just want a connection to your ISP, then maybe all you need is
to go to Network Connections in Accessories and set up a new connection.

ummmm.....just run the new connection wizard and make the appropriate selections
all that you will have to enter is your username, your password and the phone number of your provider.
